What I liked about the bikes in the mod was that when you saw one, you knew it was either a working or broken vehicle, cars that are working and cars that are props are so similar looking that it's demoralising trying to find vehicles. In saying that, an e-scooter would be cool, fast on the road, slow off road, charges from a generator or battery, can be used ad a regular scooter when out of battery.

Lmao the skateboard "why is it not in vanilla it's perfect" xD works as well as the other vehicles. Would be cool to see a wooden raft, and a dingy.

They gotta add kayaks! Could traverse ocean shores, rivers, lakes. And rowing them consumes food and water similarly to running. Maybe canoes which could actuall have some storage space or a passenger slot. You'd have to find the boats themselves and the correct paddles! 1000iq

Riding a bike is much easier than riding a skateboard, it might not seem it because every time you see footage it's someone nailing a trick but it's actually extremely difficult, even just standing on the board and pushing can take someone a long time to learn.

The bicycle is classic. Remember fitting a performance kit named "jet engine 9" on it in arma life mod, which made it go 800+kmh and 1300kmh once in the air. It obviously resulted in my death, but I still remember it fondly.

DayZ mod used to have a John Conners motorbike from terminator and the boat from jaws. Also a mountain bike that was branded USMC. I'd love to use the mountain bike on forest trails.

Bicycles should be in the game already, an even more basic for of transport than a car

Skateboards would be cool since they make backpacks that hold them double as a weapon and they could add in all sorts of deck art as rare collectibles. The mountain bikes make more sense tho as far as realism/survival aspect

Horses would absolutely make sense😂. They would be sweet to use; quiet, fast and they can still be used to carry things so still reaslistic

Horses would be sick. Have them be wild with you needing to craft a lasso out of rope to break them. Have them require a saddle or risk getting bucked off breaking your leg. One large animal pelt and one belt to make a saddle. Maybe even have the MGSV horse lean.

I would love to see the bicycle be added and maybe there is possibility that a dev will come across this and have a proper look into it

A bike would be the most sensible addition, but I'm thinking a motorized paraglider or a gyrocopter would be the most setting appropriate modes of air travel. Both are mechanically simple, relatively speaking, and easy to operate.

For namalsk, a sled that you could recruit and tame wolves... Or a mod for husky sled dogs..... Or a single bear for a laugh 🤣😂

Horses would also make a load of sense. As for bicycles 🚲 you could do a regular civilian town bike (basic)... Then a fast sports bike with skinny tyres with good top speed on roads but loose traction in soil. And have a mountain bike for the opposite. Both of which are better bikes for climbing hills with better chain systems... As the town bike is a basic one with one speed. If you can't pedal it up a steep hill... They could add a "push" mechanic where you take a hold of the handlebars and walk along your bike. But adding in wild horses that you could sneek up on a laso for a wild fast horse... Or walk up to a tame friend slow horse would be cool too. A horse that you could take care of. It can drink from ponds and rivers without needing water purification eat grass ... And even get a little boost from feeding shacks that look like the hold hay... Or the hay bales in the game. Not to mention the fruit in-game..... Where raw is better than baked for your horse 🐎🐴 😉

They should work on the FULL bicycle feet cycle animation. Proper sitting on bicycle. Proper holding handle bars… good idea. But looks ridiculous while using basic car sitting animation.

Realistically it might be time for DayZ to consider adding a boat. Players like a good portion of the islands, both for basing and looting. Now make a way for them to get there without hypothermia from swimming there.

Definitely the bicycles! They are the most realistic of the choices and makes the most sense in the game universe. If you want a moped-like thing, I would make it a cheap dirtbike with 2 seats.

The parts for bikes would be really useful to find too. Use the inner-tubes of the tires to hold water, use the spokes of the wheels as a fishing spear and the bike body you can connect to a motor and a battery and you can have a dude power your base.

Dirt bikes and quads would be a great addition as well as a bicycle. Another idea would be horses and saddle upgrades, but I would expect that to be a mess in animation development with everyone’s expectations leading up to RDR2 😂
