You have a Baker valve added between the stock hydraulic valve and tractor. It gives you the extra outlets, it's a nice valuable item. Thanks for the videos!

That old A will work great, if you get used to the fact that at the time it was made, it was a state of the art machine. It will do anything a modern will, it just takes more time. The other two outlets are for two way cylinders, and sometimes the tractor has to be shut down to release the pressure, then shove your hydraulic control to open it both ways. If I remember right there was a bolt/screw control at the bottom of the power troll section, below the two way cylinder connections. I knew dad had to reset it occasionally. I don't recall what it controls, that was over 60 years ago, I'm 70 now. It may be for the 3 point lift, that was not an option for the A, it was an add on. I think Ford tractors got the idea started.

Oh snap! Whitewalls on the grain trailer are a nice touch.. Now you just need to look for some full hubcaps to complete the look. Also, I love the tin can flying off the exhaust pipe. Seen it in at least one other video when you "start em Always admire your tenacity and never give up attitude. keep em coming

Your Grandfather added the Baker Multi-valve to the A to operate the rock shaft or the JD 45 loader together. The inside lever controls the Baker valve and the outside lever controls the rock shaft. As you have found the pto must be turning for either hydraulic valves to work. You can set up the baker valve to operate a two way cylinder. Your JD 5 mower only had one hose on the cylinder so the mower would raise and lower with out inter fearing with the JD 800 series three point hitch.

Make sure you clean both the socket and plug on the hydraulics as good as you can with a rag when you put them together. Dirt in the hydraulics system is a recipe for a bad day.

car tires are probably 2 ply and the tires that go on the wagon are probably 6 ply.. just don't load it very heavy
@frankdeegan8974 Жыл бұрын
Get a owners manual for your tractor, I would bet the hydraulic fluid needs changed and if it is full the wagon may go up higher so it will dump easier,. Also the hay will be light you may want to put a taller front and sides on the wagon.

I touched wrong place on the screen. The old deere's had 2 hydraulic hook ups where the pipe is on your a The holes in sheet metal bracket are to hold the plugs and their covers when you have a cylinder hooked up.. The other hookups on the right side of your seat are not deer. I've got plugs and their covers for my john deere 70.

Hi great video. I put implement tires on my wagons hold more. I know the tires you put on will work but probably a p rated tire. Hydraulics seem good on your tractor. When was the last time you changed all oils in it and changed radiator fluid?? Have a great day.
@HumbleAcres3 жыл бұрын
The tires are just what I had if I get new ones I would go with a Higher load rating. I have now changed all of the fluids in it.
