I applied last week took the test and today I got an email with the date and time for my fingerprints .. 😃 I watched so many videos and every single one of them is negative, everyone think is a toxic environment .. Its so true the first phase of surviving the post office is for people to follow the rules! If you cant follow the rules in orientation how can you comply with the many rules on the work floor!

Thanks a lot. Tomorrow June 5th is my Orientation as a Mail Processing Assistant PR-Puerto Rico. This is a simple but a great advice. To me it is disrespectful to use or watch at your phone when someone is talking to you. Even more if it is a job training. Some people waste great opportunities for doing dumb things.

We had wildly different experiences xD not only were people off/on on their phone but two consistently were asleep and they previously worked seasonal.....

It is ridiculous that you would be sent home for using your phone, I passed through orientation and they allow you to get up and leave the class if you have an urgent need to use your cellphone, so why would you still break that rule.

I was in the 2 week cca/rca training and they let a girl go right in front of everyone because she tried to call in sick, came to the training anyway after, then they made an example telling all of us they won't hesitate to let us go if we can't make it then, why should we make it to work when we actually start? Can't argue with that though. It's a good point.

Some people don't understand the concept of work. When you are being paid to do a job, attend orientation, etc., do just that. None of us would pay a stranger to play on their phone or the like. Be professional.

Mail clerk assistant is what kind of job,what they do , how many hours work a day and a week.

Started orientation on August 9, finished August11. Decided hours were excessive. 12 hour days for 6 days a week. Today is September 1, They never paid me for the Orientation. Never was drug tested, never finger printed No EIN number given. Was only given to certain individuals. Asked them how did they determine hours assigned? Was told if you don't like the yours then resigned. Wow all that just for asking question. They never paid me for orientation It is now September 1 still waiting for Orientation check. Any advice on how to resolve would be appreciated. They should follow rules as well and pay me.

Hey Marie, I ưent MHA Orientation 10 days ago and when we were done they told us to go home and wait for a call from the plant about work schedule. Still nobody call me yet so far. Do you think it’s normal that long? No one of us filled any tax forms in Orientation day, we only got our badges and a application form from MHA Union. So usually how long would it take to get first working day after Orientation?

I went to 2 orientations CCA first about 3 years ago and MHA 2 years ago. Both times we were at least 30 people in the room. I imagine orientation now is different now with this pandemic right? How do they do orientations now during these hard times?

hi,i already did my finger print on 9/17/20 and the SF85 or SF85P on 09/17/20 also the NACI on 09/09/20 andi received a invitation to attend a processing on 9/28/20,and i also received an offer for PSE in merrifield and i decided to accept it and let go for the previous job offer that i accepted wich is CCA. my question is do i still need to attend the invitation for the processing on 9/8/20?..
