When I was stationed in Texas back in 99-01, the best fishing was in the winter. I lived for the bull redfish run o caught absolute monsters.

I love fishing bad/cold weather. No competition and less pressure on the fish. Caught a lot of fish in the middle of a storm haha

Not comparing, but I saw you run your hook thru the shrimps tail end. I find it better to run my hook under and up through the top of the shrimps head. You should get less “bait crooks” that way.

hey, coop did u ever try ice in bottom of cooler, wet rag on top of ice, live shrimp on top of wet rag, damp rag on top of shrimp? an old timer told me it would keep shrimp alive couple days, no batteries , water or bubbler
