"Boss Mabel": This tale reminds me of a sign I saw on a boatyard wall: The parts of the body were arguing over who/what should be The Boss. The muscles argued that they got the work done, the brain argued that it commanded the body, the eyes saw clearly, and the stomach digested the food. The rectum spoke up and the other parts of the body laughed so hard that the rectum closed up. The muscles grew weak and couldn't work, the brain grew foggy, the eyes became dim and crossed, and the stomach became violently ill. The parts of the body gave up and the rectum became The Boss. You don't have to be strong, or a brain to be boss, but you must be an Azzhole! Mabel's loosey-goosey approach didn't work, but Grunklestan discovered that "Please" and "Thank You" go a long way in the workplace.
