Consuming videos, books, articles, newsletters... it's all great, but only if you can then translate their wisdom into reality. Else, you fall in this cycle of fake productivity -consuming for consumption's sake.
It's frustrating, it makes you feel bad about yourself and it can get overwhelming fast.
This is a 2-Step formula to avoid this situation and actually apply what you read. It's effective, efficient and simple to implement straight away.

watched this video twice 3 days ago. watched an unrelated instagram reel that made me think of "act on the first before consuming the second", which then reminded me of a poem i wrote 2 weeks ago. now i have to apply it and make a video about it. cheers for the inspiration brother. love your videos! Godspeed!

Great video! SO many good ideas! I don't know where to start! 😃 So easy to forget that the most important word in 'self-improvement book' is 'self'. So easy to blame a book for not accomplishing what 'I' was supposed to accomplish before moving on to the next book. I at least need to work on collecting what I 'learned' in a manner that makes it easy(er) to review. Some of these learned ideas can be pretty imposing, so I try to walk away from a book with some low hanging fruit as well, something to accomplish quick while I work on the harder bit. In this instance, I want to start tabbing my self-help books. I like to underline, but want something visual to remind me that important info is inside that book that I want inside of me. Meanwhile, I can work on the task of consolidating the bigger ideas you have here and that are in other sources. Well, I made a mash of this comment. It isn't what I set out to say, but it's almost lunch time and I need to keep moving. Will be watching this video again to be sure.

Thanks so much, I'm glad you found value in it! The index tab method is something I recently started too, makes processing the next steps a lot easier

i'm very happy to find content like yours, thank you! people preach about how to read more and more and more, but i feel like it's all meaningless if you don't apply what you read from each book and if you don't focus on it properly, what's the point?

Thanks! And for sure, even tiny amounts of action pay off more than endless consumption

Speaking of books, I'm reading a book at the moment that, from the practicality of this video, I'm guessing you will appreciate: "Anti-Time Management" by Richie Norton.

That’s how homework works in school. You learn something in class, then apply it during the homework. Same thing for your own reading/self-study: Learn something, then apply it
