Food for thought. I dont care for the name "12 letter alphabet" though it's ironic that the smallest alphabet of any known language has only 12 letters. But the basic concept that there is a correlation between places/houses and signs/temples, I do feel is relevant. Despite learning from two traditional astrologers courses (Chris Brennan and Adam Elenbaas) that discredit the concept, I feel they inadvertently justify it. One of the biggest issues that most people have in trying to say there's no connection is trying to explain why there is a 12 house/place system? And the only answer goes back to the point of there being 12 signs. There's a reasoning for 12signs but not a seperate REASON for 12 houses. There's 7 planets(including the north node would make 8) and there was a mention of an 8 house system that no one even uses. So for example Disneyland are different from Disney. But you can experience what makes Disney..Disney is by the physical places of Disneyland. So with that Aries and the 1st house are different in one represents the metaphysical theme and the other the physical but the 1st house can be considered Aries-land. Interpretively then the Aries in your chart could feel like there's a present, bodily, inception, beginning, "lagna", "head first" etc theme to it. Like having Aries in the 6th house can feel health, deliberation, service, and/or daily work routines is what everything there life is hinged on. Through 6th house themes is where the native renews themselves or "bring their self into being". Or the head and the hair has a strict daily care and regimen. Or there's a tendency to be present or physically connected with 6th house themes like enjoying cleaning. Since there is a connection to the signs and planets as well, these themes can also carry over to the planets but as you know more complexity.

Libra rules my 2nd House, which in Placidus has Neptune in Scorpio. I feel it. Money doesn't mean much to me when I see others in need, and I never make loans, I just tend to give it and forget about it. I sucked at renting out rooms in my house. My sister up and just stopped paying rent (that's more about her than me). But my Virgo Sun/Rising want security now that I have Long Covid and have to consider early retirement. Virgo's a penny-pincher, though, and that's anti-thetical to an abundance mindset. 😕

@@arwenanduin sorry, I'm strictly a traditional whole sign house astrology baby and have a very limited approach to using Uranus, neptune and Pluto. I was just curious. So from the perspective of whole sign, Mars, the ruler of the 3rd house of siblings, friends, hobbies and 8th house of others income, inheritance, and "karmic baggage"(Adam Elenbaas phrase he uses for 8th), is in it's Fall in the 11th house of friendships, career income or how revenue is brought in after a career, hopes and wishes. And conjunct Venus the ruler of the 2nd house of self income, valuables and values and 9th house of beliefs, morals and travel is conjunct that Mars. Which is opposing natures trying to merge, mesh, occupy the same space or come together to make something new.

I have Saturn, Neptune and Uranus in my second. And 100%!! I’m in my mid 30s and making and saving more money than I ever had in my life! All my friends can’t believe it because my 20s I would so broke. I kept telling them once I break the curse at 35. I’ll be rich. And wow it was spot on lol!

Look at the sign that the house cusp sits in. Whatever planet rules that sign, is the ruler of your second house, and whatever sign and house that ruler sits in, will tell you about your second house

​​@@malissagee4211 I would love to explain the rationale. First the 2nd house is part of the 1st house triad. Which means it's more integral to the self. This brings a point I disagree somewhat with the point that 2nd is not what we eat. The expression " we are what we eat" is also expressed by the 2nd house is set to rise after the 1st house of "self" by primary motion so how what we consume changes and effects the self is apparent. Anyways, money can purchase things that build up the self but money itself has no real value for that purchase. Maybe some who walks around holding stacks of cash in public but in general, no. The 3rd house represents what has fallen away from the 4th house of..house, property and what has been stored up. 3rd is a social, marketing, commuting and flowing type of house. So what helps for us to interact in this way is CURRENT-cy. Let me point out something Heather mentioned, derivative houses. This shows an intimate connection between the 2nd and 3rd because the the 3rd is the 2nd house from the 2nd. So the possessions of possessions. The valuables of valuables. So considering that if we had a barter system or you pay for goods with precious stones, metals, livestock, produce, and yes even people etc then sure we may look at solely at the 2nd house. But now we use a currency that represents those things of value. If second house is a farm then 3rd is the farmer's market. Moon has it's joy in the 3rd house. So consider what moon represents on an economical prespective.

@@malissagee4211 my initial response was kind of long and confusing probably. Just starting off that currency is usually backed by something(gold, silver, people, precious stones, etc). Though they are linked, they are not the same.

Pluto in the 2nd can be trauma, fear and obsession over resources… usually it’s connected to past experiences (or it’s just this innate feeling) and not connected to actual threats to your livelihood the present moment. This placement with the conjunction to Jupiter can be used to your advantage and does have the potential to create a lot of wealth, but the psychological issues typically need to be worked through first to help unlock more of that potential… even with the t-square I’d say it’s possible!
