They were in a J-Pop music video and they were wearing white uniforms. I loved the video and hope that it will get even more people watching this magnificent band. They deserve all the accolades that they can get.

They started in the Kyoto Prefectural contest, prgress through the Kansai Regional Contest to the All Japan finalds. They won the gold for this performance. The first year students in this group were the seniors in the 2018 Rose Parade. The thing about Merry Go Round, the drill piece is that every section has a chance to carry the melody at least once. These contests are held in the fall, and I believe this one is 2018, so the fall after the 2015/2018 class graduated.

Unfortunately they didn't win. It takes some minutes to explain the rule. Firstly national context is the most important event for all Japanese school clubs every year. Not only band, football team, base ball team, every club join their national context. Secondly, marching band context has a 3 stage elimination rule. For Tachibana it's Kyoto-Kansai-national. Top 3 teams of Kyoto go to Kansai. Top 3 teams of Kansai go to national. This video is the stage 1, Kyoto marching band contest. Tachibana won Top 3. But they were eliminated in Kansai contest several days later and fail to go to national finals. The rules of the contest only check music precision and squad alignment. You can see there are still noise in the music and some small mistakes in the alignment of the formation. You can see the video of Seika. That's the winning standard. BUT, We still love Tachibana, they are the best !!

Amazingly, they did not win this competition, which is not a slight on them but rather a testament to the winning band. Kyoto Tachibana is still the most entertaining band I have ever seen, and they will always be my favorite.

They are the Orange Devils, nicknamed by other competing bands. Look at their competitor's faces, total devastation as they realize they cannot win against the Orange Devils. Orange Devils are very good... Thank you for loving our reactions... The story behind is that Batam is a very shy person.. She has social anxiety and depression way back 2018... Until now shes still experiencing a bit depression beacuse of vertigo symptoms.. So she wants to hide in batman mask because it's her favorite hero.. When we are not reacting she loves to stay in a quiet room.. In other words shes like a bat.. Just want to stay in a bat cave...🦇

@@dkrtomodachi Hi Batim and Catmimi, I was browsing through the Playlist Archive. I found a video from a live feed from three months ago. It features two of your acquaintances from The Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band " Fireball "m video. One young lady in the " Fireball " video is transporting the green " Green Band Association " flag. Normally she plays the flute and piccolo. She is a Sophomore in the Parade, in two years in her Senior year she would be the Drum Major for the 116th Term. The second young Lady in the " Fireball " video is an Alumni of the 107th Term invited to attend the 123rd Tournament of Roses Parade in 2012 and also was invited to attend the 129th Tournament of Roses Parade in 2018 as a member of the Percussion Corps. She was one of seven members that played the Snare Drum. She was positioned as the first snare drummer directly left of the glockenspiel and xylophone. Looking forward from the rear she3 would be in the snare drum rank at the third file. Anyways, they made a video that I've found to be relaxing. Maybe, you might like to view it too. It's title will be posted to be cut and pasted into the KZfaq Search bar. Oh yes, the young ladies names are Ms. Suzuka and Ms. Mita. KZfaq video: with SUZUKA SESSION!
