Copper replacing gold in powered rails is perfect! Mine cart rails are too expensive for their utility compared to other means of rapid transit. Rails are one of the earlier transit methods, and they’re grossly underpowered for their cost.

The variations for the skeleton are the stray and the wither skeleton, cold and hot. I honestly think the spider should get a new variant called the tree/forest/jungle spider that inflicts you with blindness and attacks from above unlike its contrary, the cave spider, which is small and attacks from below. It would also be neutral, like the regular spider or attack during the day and be neutral at night. It would resemble the old spider design being brown but with blue eyes. It would spawn exclusively in jungle, dark forest, swamp and mangrove forest biomes and would drop string and its eyes which give nausea and jump boost. The cave spider should also drop sticky string used to craft cobwebs.

Oh, and the Creeper deserves a Jungle Variant that can move through jungle leaves. Exclusively jungle leaves.

Along with copper for powered rails, gold could be used for an even more powerful rail that allows the player to move very fast.

I think the idea of using copper for powered rails, make logical sense as gold in real life is not very conductive but copper is and is used constantly in electronic cabling. So it would make sense to use copper, and give it more purposes!

I love idea #46, an item that sends players back to their spawnpoint would be so convenient and would assist tremendously with the return from adventures or mining expeditions. It is something that I also thought should be implemented, especially since I also play Terreria and this item seems to be a parody of their “Magic Mirror'”. Going back to that “bed is too far away” idea I think they should change the way the “you may not rest now, there are monsters nearby” works because it is really annoying when you try to sleep and you can’t because there is a zombie at your window or a spider on your roof. It’s not 2012 anymore surely the game should be able to have some sort of danger level system so it measures how much danger you’re in before it decides wether you can sleep or not.

Idea for the ghillie: they can walk and shoot through leaf blocks and shoot poison arrows, making them much more of a threat. They could potentially spawn more frequently around jungle temples

Idea: Potion of teleportation made from using popped chorus fruit in a brewing stand. This would allow the player to teleport wherever their cursor points to (within a certain distance, but glowstone would increase the distance). This would give a new use for popped chorus fruit, one of the most neglected items in the game.

You should be able to makes pipes out of copper. I personally have always found it annoying that you need to connect hoppers to hoppers or build a very clunky water way to transfer your items. The crafting recipe would be 3 copper on the top and bottom of the crafting table and a chest in the middle similar to the hopper. TLDR, copper item pipes.

They should add a toolbelt as a pair of wearable pants to the late game. It could hold your tools in it, and use the pick block button to swap to the tool needed to break that block while it's equipped. It would allow for quite a bit of space to be freed up in your inventory and hot bar without directly adding spots. Would kind of be like a bundle in a sense, but being able to choose protection vs convenience like the Elytra. It could possibly occupy the offhand as well to allow for the tool to be freely swapped and used, or even swap the current tool in the hot bar with the one needed. acting as an easy swap storage for tools.

Agree on the door wielding zombie being the best idea. Also like the ideas where they go back to recipes that kind of have insane costing recipes and seeing if any o the new, but seldom use items, are a better fit. Powered rails using copper instead of gold and that fireworks recipes using amethyst instead of diamonds. Though wouldn't mind seeing all the blocks be renewable, can just make some much, much harder to farm than others. I mean, give people a chance to gather up enough diamond or netherite blocks to build a giant mansion, but make it so it's not trivial and the rarer stuff hard enough that people don't bother with the netherite block mansion, unless they really want to build one. Plus, we should be able to place more than one flower on block because the current placement makes no sense. Honestly, depending on resources, it should vary with type. I could see only one rose bush per block, but 4 sunflowers per block and maybe more than 4 tulips per block. Though if four is the max they can do. Then probably 2-3 sunflower per block and same deal for other similarly sized flowers. Bit surprised there isn't anything in the top 50 suggesting new villager professions. Seems like they could make it easier to get some flowers and trees without relying on the very RNG wandering trader by adding in the florist profession, could even add a few flowers that could only be purchased from the florists. Unless they add a bunch more stuff that would make a beekeeper worth it, they could fold in the beekeeper things that already exist into the florist. Artificer also seems like another interesting idea, could be a source for lots of red stone components and even the starting point for getting materials needed to say be able to gain access to some currently nonrenewable blocks. Also they could add in the shopkeeper and/or merchant as villager professions that get new trade options adding to them anytime there is a need to add in a resource sink to turn seldom used, but extremely common blocks into emeralds that can be used to get other items. Finally, would mind seeing them make a point of giving us a means to recycle crafted items into something or use them as fuel. It doesn't need to be economical, and shouldn't. I should, for example, be able to take nearly dead shields and either turn them into sticks or if that is deemed too good an option, let me use them as fuel.

With the monument tree, I’d have an area where the trees start getting bigger in a circular area but obviously have the main tree stand out and basically have it blend in with the whole first itself so it doesn’t look unnatural.

I didn’t even watch Techno but I thought the Piglin King was a great idea, aside from the power ups given for the crown. I think players would still gravitate towards trying to get it, even if it was purely for cosmetic purposes

Theres an incredibly underrated suggestion on the subreddit for changes to the bundle item before they add it to the game as-is that's just SO good. Makes it compatible with things like Allays as a means of searching for multiple items, or dispensers for dropping a bunch of items all at once... gives them a better recipe and a few other changes to make them more accessible early game, and makes them enchantable so they keep their usefulness into mid/late-game (and some of the suggested enchants sound awesome) Also the ability to dye them - which I think just has to come to the game!

I think the jungle temples should have better loot as well as lingering potions and wither arrows. Also you shouldent be able to mine near a jungle temple until all chests are looted

Gold being used in redstone recipes was from a time before copper, BUT what you may not have known is that gold actually is more conductive (both thermal and electrical) than copper! The reason we dont use it for wires all the time is because it is EXTREMELY expensive and soft in its purest form. Copper is far cheaper. I believe to balance this, we should have copper rails AND gold rails, BUT gold rails can be powered at longer ranges than copper can. Basically copper rails being a weaker powered rail, but cheaper. Gives copper more use, if Im being honest

One inventory based idea I had was if a shulker box was put in your offhand (shulker boxes going in offhand would need to be possible on bedrock for this) it would show the shulker boxes content inside your inventory (looking like the shulker boxes GUI stacked on top of your normal inventory) instead of having to place it down and open it.

the idea for connected textures is great since it gives the possibility to connect some blocks and leave others unconnnected which would definitely be a useful detail would be nice to also have that option for bookshelves and other connectable blocks, even with a debug stick or some other special tool

so an idea I have for minecraft is a musical instrument called the lyre and you can play it by opening a menu it has and once you play it with a writeable music disk in your inventory it'll record the music and it'll give you a prompt to name the disk and who wrote it. Custom Music Disks can also be used for recording events in a minecraft world similar to music disks 5 11 and 13. How you would obtain a writeable music disk is maybe through villager trading(like maybe as one of the Librarians or Priests treasure trades) loot in structure chests such as dungeons or maybe it can be crafted like the book and quill maybe by using 8 iron ingots surrounding 1 netherite ingot or it can be all of the above The Lyre on the other hand is you would use 7 gold ingots and 1 string to craft it by having 3 gold ingots on each side of the string and 1 below it.

Edit: i've got an idea for the tecnoblade / piglin king discussion: The piglin chichieftain they'd be a bigger stronger varient of piglin, they'd be hostile unless you're wearing gold like piglins, but if give the a bunch of gold instead of bartering you get the buff "cheiftain's favor" which for the duration, makes all piglins (even brutes) friendly even if you're not whereing gold armor, and you have a higher chance of getting better stuff from piglin bartering. Piglins would still defend themselves if attacked, and if you agro the cheiftain the effect wears off imidiately and all near by piglins become hostile.

When you get mining fatigue from an elder guardian a boss health bar should show for every elder guardian in the nearby area. 1 to make them seem like a legitimate boss. And 2 to give new players more of a sense of direction when in countering a ocean monument for the first time, since a lot of people ( me included ) thought there was only one guardian in the monument the first time around.

I think they should let you mark an item in a chest as placeholder it makes that item unwithdrawable until you remove it this would help when you dont want to organize chests constantly if anyones played runescape they know what im talking about

I think the mirror is a cool idea, although, in terraria, they have the same thing and there’s no recharge, I don’t know if that would translate into Minecraft, but maybe make it extremely rare as an endgame item. Maybe even make it, so it only appears in the world that cheats enabled

I had a much simpler idea for a Technoblade rememberence. If you rename a pig to Technoblade it adds a crown to its head, similar to if you rename a sheep jeb_ it makes it rainbow. Doesn't need to make a big update about it they could just add it in as an Easter egg of sorts.

I don't see logic in a multi billion dollar company only being able to fully implement 1 new creature every major update when they design 3 and show us 3. The updates are already mostly dry as it is. I also think Minecraft devas should take community feedback when it comes to making larger changes to past content. -updating old boring structures, completely rebalancing mobs like the phantom. Mojangs "rebalance" would be "it doss less damage" or "no more knock back" no, phantoms and many past features need full reworks. What about rather than an abundant pest that barely serves as a challenge, we can have a less abundant mob that serves as a one on one challenge. I cannot remember who's video it was but someone came up with the idea that when players don't sleep, they should spawn at High altitudes, match the speeds of an elytra and try to push us off course, actively hunting the player. We need interesting mobs that don't just run at the player and attack and the phantom, being an existing mob that nobody likes would be a good place to start. I also think the game needs some tweaks to consistency. For example the animation and Ai quality. How come mobs like the warden and pandas are well animated and have variety in their behaviour?? While other mobs are so basic. I think Minecraft dungeons would be good place to take inspiration. Its their own game after all. Minecraft is stylised yes but if there is a way to make it look good, theres no reason why they shouldnt. The example with copper was perfect. Before we get new content mojang needs to go back and fix the things that just don't fit together/make sense. Going back to change the passive mobs would be great too. Llaamas lead together should follow one another without risk of a lead breaking, they are just not earth it in their current state, wandering traders, give them at least one exclusive item. At least its something. Fireflies?? Instead of removing them they could've innovated. They did promise them after all. There's a mod that adds fireflies in a completely unique way. They only spawn at night and are much larger than 2 pixels and will randomly sit on other entities including the player, providing dynamic light. Mojang really needs to step up their game.

Jungle temples are nullified by breaking blocks. They need a way to put mining fatigue on you when you enter so it's harder.

The backend update is the most important suggestion. I cannot stress this enough; I would rather a significant improvement to performance on Java over any other feature update. If working on this update meant there would be no new blocks, items or mobs for five years, I would be completely fine with that.

The ability to arm villagers or a warrior class. Maybe lookout towers would be cool

I wish there was a tab on the Minecraft main menu screen that allowed us to choose a Minecraft version from earliest of betas all the way up to the end of the PS3 Xbox 360 era of Minecraft it will allow us to bring an old world into the modern version of Minecraft or even just play an old version of Minecraft without having to go out of your way to possibly get a virus trying to download it on your computer or even using terrible third-party applications that don't exactly let you play the game and most likely just look at it basically the only way I've been able to play the old updates is because I deleted the title update of my Xbox 360 , which means basically I have not played a modern version of Minecraft in like 4 years lol 😂 mostly because I enjoy the feel of the old versions but that is just me so far I don't know I guess what do you guys think lel

I would like to see the world size reduced to 2^25 blocks (+/- 16.7M) with the nether +/- 2M blocks and wrap around so there's no world border. The region files (512x512) could be named in hexadecimal and the whole world would fit within 8.3 namespace.

Pretty much all of these are great ideas. I really like the door shield zombie as well, and the mule cart would not only solve the land boat weirdness it would also solve the tedium of having to drag mobs in a boat and using pistons or water to force it over blocks.

25:00 I believe the entire reason they added Pandas was spreading awareness ( + cuteness). They add nothing from a gameplay perspective other than giving more life to a jungle, which blue whales would often do. Idk could be wrong but I think that was the reason.

I personally want an automated crafting table. You put down a blueprint, hoppers feed it, you could power it to run, and it spits out a product. It'd make stuff like paper and rockets and books a lot less tedious to make, and if it takes a fuel to run it won't be too OP. Could use copper for templates + making the "Powered" Crafting station, templates could also have limited uses so you'd have to replace them now and again. It does start to drift into "Modded factory stuff" territory so I can understand why not, but, it'd be a personal QoL improvement.
