The spectrum of emotional affairs encompasses seven types, beginning innocently with friendships that morph into something unforeseen. In this video, I'll help you identify which stage of the EA you're in. The 6 Stages:
1. Innocent Friendship: Initially harmless relationships that may evolve unexpectedly.
2. Crossing the Line: Moments of weakness where boundaries are breached, leading to moral dilemmas.
3. Cribbing: Reliance on someone outside the relationship for emotional support and stress relief.
4. Fixation: Obsessive thoughts and fantasies about an external person, diverting attention from the marriage.
5. Making Decisions Together: Elevating the influence of an external individual in decision-making, undermining the partnership.
6. Unrealistic Expectations: Setting unattainable standards based on an idealized external figure, leading to marital discord.
