Oh ICE needs to go, but as a german who got thoroughly educated on all of that, this comparison is NOT it. I am sure it wasn't intentional. So, I’m in Scotland and famously, every August, we have the world’s biggest arts and culture festival (The Edinburgh Festival Fringe). Mostly because of that, I’ve “met” a lot of celebrities in my life lol - I say “met” because although Scottish people are famous for being very friendly, we don’t have the same kind of culture of flocking and clambering to get to famous people. I also used to work in Edinburgh Airport so again, I’ve met a lot of people (my favourites by far were the New Zealand All Blacks for obvious reasons 😏😆). Anyway - in almost all of those interactions, I gave the classic “white person lipless smile and nod” so they got the message I recognised them and I was saying hello 😂🤷‍♀️ That was it haha. (Although I served Jessie J when I worked in a designer shoe store and she was HORRIBLE to deal with. I swear on my life: she would whisper into her assistant’s ear, and the ASSISTANT would ask me for the shoe/size. Jessie would try the shoes on, and literally walk out of them, leaving them on the floor, SAYING NOTHING TO ME, and would just walk away 😒 I couldn’t help myself - on the third or fourth time, I said loudly “ok so these are a no? I’ll just pick them up after you then since you’ve just left them at your arse!” 😭😂 Luckily I was the supervisor so if they complained, it was going nowhere 😉 I don’t think they even cared though lol). We generally leave people to their own devices and admire from a distance 😆 Of course, you get the occasional idiot who doesn’t gaf and will invade personal boundaries but it’s generally not common. Zooey Deschanel came here and wandered all over Edinburgh, went to the Military Tattoo and even got engaged - no one bothered them haha 😆

I went to my fave gay bar recently for a drag show but before i left it occured to me that I'd only been there in colder months and it's an old brick building and i left in a full face like "I'm just going to trust" and sure enough i pulled up and it was BLASTING 🧊 i sat down like "trixie and katya would be proud"

I really love when they talk about more serious topics and politics. It makes me feel sane hearing them have the same opinions about what’s going on in this world. I wish more public figures had these conversations and talked about how they can help Also I think Trixie would love AuriKatariina’s channel! She cleans hoarders houses for free and brings awareness to depression and the types of traumas that cause people to neglect themselves and their homes. Then at the end she shows the before and after with the entire house completely cleaned out and brand new!

29:50!!! i dont know if it is as visible in america, but this rings so loudly in Asia. I think it’s part of the reason why idol/stardom is such a huge culture there. it’s interesting because i know people who reject kpop/mandopop/etc because they saw them as industry robots… when the majority of american pop is the same. just a different flavor framed as selfmade.

Actresses taking on additional producer roles on their projects is one way to ensure that they are able to continue working and getting paid as they age, in order to counter the ageism issue in Hollywood. So I support it 100%. Get that power, honey.

Thank you. There’s nothing “unethical” about advocating for your work and ensuring you have control so you are not taken advantage of later. It’s not just a title, real work is involved that is often with the goal of creating more protection for artists
