@@RonCondon I agree. Reshoots often involve making the product worst. For example batwoman, that saw several reshoots, before the mildly based executive permanently put it on ice because it was a garbage fire. Also, look at mando 3, and book of fett, KK went out of her way to make sure they were bad after fans celebrated luke in mando 2. Many marvel phase 4 movies saw extensive reshoots, and the nonsense that fans continue to reject was not removed. Reshoots is probably just hollywood code for more money washing, or tax avoidance.

It was impossible for The Acolyte to kill/destroy Star Wars. Rise Of Palpitine finished it off back in late 2019. It had the potential to fix at least SOME of what TLJ did, but instead incinerated it to a pile of ash.

A good writer could’ve picked up where The Force Awakens left off, the series was still salvageable at that point, but The Last Jedi was a literal dead end. The glass shattered & no amount of glue could put it back together. The character assassination of Luke was unforgivable & there’s no coming back from that.

They’re taking the Darth JarJar theory and using it as a trope where YES he WAS PRETENDING to be a bumbling fool the whole time and is actually the one pulling the strings. Let's face it: The Ki-Adi-Mundi screwup happened because neither Headland nor Filoni--supposed superfans of Star Wars--know what BBY means in the SW calendar. They figured bigger numbers = more recent because that's how it works in our world. This explains why Mundi appears to be 40ish in this show (the approximate difference between his 93 BBY birth year and the 132 BBY year of the show except in the wrong direction). $180 million budget and they can't even get the dates right. Lucasfilm has to be the most incompetent studio in the history of Hollywood.
