Jess and Melissa really disappointed me about them thinking that child brought it upon herself when Abby body shamed her. Mackenzie was bodyshamed a lot by her own dance teacher you’d think Melissa would know how heartbreaking that is for a child

One of the things I admired most about these girls is that they traveled non stop, had to learn and memorize multiple numbers a week, all while doing schooling and still having flawless performances! These girls all deserve more credit for that aspect alone! They had many flawless or almost flawless routines, especially Maddie, kalani, Chloe, Mackenzie and Brooke. Nia was very underrated in groups, especially in s5. This was Nias season to show improvement and she did just that. Her performance in Rather Be and Platinum especially were amazing! I also loved Jojo in some groups as well.

What gets me is that every time the girls have a great acting/singing opportunity, she tries to take charge and control the situation, by interrupting people. I don’t know how Dallas Levato didn’t kick her out of the room acting like that.

Something that I’ve noticed since watching Dance Moms….whenever Abby would gloat in front of everyone about Maddie’s accomplishments whether it’s booking a dance job, or an acting job, or winning 1st place….almost every time she does that, Maddie smiles uncomfortably like she doesn’t like for Abby do to that because she knows that it will potentially create drama. Hell, even in the very first episode of the show when Abby talked about Maddie being undefeated last season, and always having perfect attendance….you can see that Maddie looked a bit uncomfortable. I’m willing to bet that even before the drama became obvious, Maddie just knew that it would happen.

I love that Sassy mentioned her putting Kenzie in the dance from season 3 🙄, though they don't always put the judges critique in the episode when they edit the episode so I don't think that's why they didn't show Kenzie's dance

Man Abby is so extra and entitled, like imagine being lucky enough to get the opportunity to attend an acting workshop run by Dallas Lovato and you just interrupt and butt in the whole time 🙄 Abby is so embarrassing

Whelp, I think a judge addressing Abby about her choreography for her 2-3 previous in front of the entire audience probably means this was a very fake put on by producers competition. I mean how inappropriate is that for a judge to admit her close friendship with a dance teacher and talk about knowing the kid's dancing well enough to comment on how she always believed in her? If that happened at a legit competition every other studio would pull out of the competition and demand their money back since the competition was obviously favoring one studio to the extreme? Regardless of this being a competition put on by the producers, I still think that was very unprofessional of Rachelle Rak. And I mean she's performed all over broadway and whatnot so she should know better

I'm curious to know how Abby treated her students outside of the ALDC. Before the reality TV show was Abby attitude always this nasty, I wonder? And maybe I am reading a little to much into this but the producer's notes sound as if they aren't happy with Dance Moms either. This could of been a great little documentary about the world of dance and the challenges young dancers face. Best regards.
