Knowing the backstory, I’m so proud of Holly for standing up for Nia and herself. It took a lot of courage to stand up to that toxic environment.

Holly made the right decision to take Nia’s career in her own hands as Abby was most definitely racist and showed her micro aggressions more towards Nia.

I wish Christi and Kelly had been there. They would've had Holly's back.

It’s sad that the girls, the literal children, were more proud of Nia, encouraging of her, and happy for her success than the grown adult women were. And I will always respect Nia as a person. Always polite and even tempered but NEVER took trash from anyone.

I have so much respect for holly for getting the girls to go out of the room when she knows that she will lose her temper. The fact that she is able to think of the kids in the room while she’s so frustrated and angry with Abby is amazing. Holly’s amazing.

Jess wasn’t friends with Holly they used her because Nia was getting bigger in her music career and wanted Jojo in that lane. Jess is and always will be disgusting.

I am so proud of Holly for standing up for Nia. As soon as Brooke, Paige, and Chloe were gone, Nia became Abby’s new scapegoat. I do think that the moms should have supported Holly the way that Christi and Kelly used to.

I find it interesting that at the beginning it seems like Jill was the most vocal in support of Holly

Abby had stated multiple times that she hated that Nia grew up.. because she finally found herself standing up to Abby. “You’re being your mom”… her mom is HOLLY??? It’s a problem??? Like she’s mad that she can’t walk over her like she did when she was 9-11

Though I’m very happy for Jojo for all of her success and she earned every bit of it, it kills me that Jess had the last laugh after how terrible she was to everyone. I get that she had to cause drama to stay on the show, but unashamedly throwing kids under the bus and influencing Jojo to do the same? Terrible.

I do think Holly made the right call with Nia’s music career without Abby given that Abby took away opportunities for Nia or typecasted her into stereotypical rules that are harmful. Having said that, Holly by going to production made things worse for Nia. I don’t know when it became knowledge that the children’s contracts were not legally processed in California but even though Holly wanted Nia to be resilient in the entertainment industry, Holly should have taken Nia out of the ALDC in the same way Jess did for JoJo in season 6 because Abby treated Nia the same way she treated Chloe by excluding Nia just with micro aggressions.

Holly most definately made the right call. And Jess support of Holly and Nia was clearly fake because she was just cold

All the brown-noising got Melissa nowhere but other opportunities. She doesn’t even talk to Abby anymore. She used Abby’s name and ran with it, she’s very smart.

It's actually really sad and ridiculous that Nia had to stay seated when the group went to get their award, because Kalani got to join the group on stage for the 'domino's' dance even though she wasn't in it. That's just not fair, and I feel bad for Nia. She deserved better 💗

Holly was honestly alone after Christi and Kelly left. All the moms hanged up on her and all turned on her. If Christi and Kelly stayed they would’ve had her back.

Literally the difference with holly and the other mothers is clear as day . Holly has morals and sticks to them , she doesn’t betray anyone and genuinely does what’s right for her and nia and for the team . If she can’t get opportunities from Abby she won’t manipulate the other mothers or Abby to give it to her , instead she finds someone else who is willing to give nia a chance , while the other mothers usually fight with Abby just so Abby would give them a sponsorship or something . Holly has always been my favourite dance moms due to her calm demeanour and reasonable outbursts . She has every right to feel the way she does and Abby and the other mothers were so wrong with that . I get that the other mothers sided Abby as they knew if they sided with holly Abby would take away their children’s opportunities and won’t be seen as a loyal or valuable member of the team . But holly isn’t like that , she sticks to her values and does what’s right

To have anything against Holly and/or Nia is ridiculous. They’re the LEAST annoying and least bothersome, and least quarrelsome of all the dance moms and girls.

Holly was allways my favourite mom, she knew her daughter's worth and wasn't afraid to speak up for her or any of the other girls. I never understood how she and Nia were able to stand Abby for so long, but it shows their determination

I had no respect for Jess, because let’s face it she’s a terrible person.. but this just makes it even worse. She purposely went after kids on the show and tried to make trouble constantly, and she’s confirmed that herself. I get that she wanted fame, but there was no need to act like such a brat

Holly is an amazing and supportive mother who instilled confidence in her daughter at such a difficult time. I don’t want to say what is happening to Abby’s life is karma, but I’ll just say God doesn’t sleep. 💅🏽

- Say what you want about Christi and Kelly, but they would 10000% back Holly and Nia. Not just pormising her to her face and sneaking to Abby a second later. - Nia deserves some kind of award for having such a strong center and standing her ground for her own truth *while staying graceful and respectful every step of the way*. Truly inspiring - We all need Holly to teach parenting skills to everyone. I'd sign in in a heartbeat!

When Nia was going through her singing career during this season. The producers and Abby’s wanted to make Holly look like the angry black woman so bad & looking back at these episodes I can honestly see that. Holly is so classy & graceful that she knows how to handle herself. The other moms are so fake & not true friends!

Jill is a 🐍 I cannot count the number of situations where she has been manipulative and nasty to others...including children. Holly is a 👑 I think she was the most supportive of the mothers.

I was proud if Holly with this episode. Knowing the rumors oh how Abby works, she was upset that she couldn’t get a managerial fee. Holly started taking control because Abby didn’t care. From season 1, Abby didn’t want Nia (Paige, Chloe or Brooke) on the team.

Season 5 was so uncomfortable to watch and this episode was the most uncomfortable to watch.

i think this was the same episode where brynn had a solo with club dance too, i remember she said she performed her solo that won at the dance awards but kendall beat her with a bollywood solo lmao

I don’t know why Holly expected the moms to back her up, especially Jill. The only time Jill steps up and fights back when her little Kendall is in the hot seat.

So happy for a new video!! The behind-the-scenes real stuff is so addictive!!I love that Nia was encouraging the other girls to branch out. They seemed fine with Abby half-assing their careers (except Maddie and Kenzie). Kendell got 1 or 2 songs with Abby, then nothing. Holly and Nia definitely chose the harder path, but they did it on their own and on their own terms. Holly took her power back by telling Abby “no, Nia is not dancing.” She wasn’t prepared one bit so why should she jump at stale scraps?? Abby had all week to tell her but she waited until they were at the competition to freak her out.

TBH I'm always like if Holly screams it must be for a good reason. She didn't raise her voice if it wasn't absolutely necessary. When Holly screams, you listen

looking back it’s clear abby realized the girls had more potential to continue the show without her than vice versa. we could watch them grow up and do other things, either as Dance Moms or under a spin-off name. abby wasn’t able to easily find a good set of dancers with entertainment moms

That seems so crazy and outright malicious of Abby to try and block Nia from her music career. I wonder if the producers were the ones who said they would pay Aubrey O'Day 10k. Did Abby even have 10k to spare lol. I think Abby went along with it though. I thought the segment when Nia worked with Aubrey in the studio was so inspiring and heartwarming. This season frustrates me because Holly should’ve left the show for Nia’s mental health. No child should have to constantly be berated and bullied by their own dance teacher. I understand that she wanted to teach Nia resilience but she should not be forced to take abuse to learn this lesson. I feel this way about all the girls but especially Nia due to her situation being so obviously racist

It just proves the other mothers did stick up for Holly and Nia, but they weren't going to jeopardise their own children to do it

I think it was absolutely right decision for Nia to not dance after the argument at pyramid. Holly did the right thing standing up to abby for nia.

In all fairness, Nia's song, especially since Nia actually did some of the writing, was probably better than whatever song Abby had bought for her. Kendall's song just wasn't as memorable.

I just watched this episode on Lifetime and half of this that Mack Z is explaining did not happen. The ALDC did compete against club dance, but it was not aired as that they did not air Tracy or Sarah coming in the dressing room, and they did not air that about club Dance coming in the moms not have a fight with Kira and jojo did not throw kalani under the bus.

I just don't know what I'd do if I had a child on the team. On the one hand, there's a lot of exposure and opportunities, but on the other, the psychological trauma associated with Abby's tactics would be long-lasting (perhaps permanent). There's a vast difference between hard coaching and abuse. On top of that, it's not like Lifetime is known for its generosity in terms of trying to terminate a contract, so once signed, it would take an act of God to get out of such a contract.
