There are many eye assets on the market, but I personally relied only on a single one - the Auto Eye by @lucasfalcao3d. It covered all my needs for shading and animation of all the characters' eyes in Heroes of Bronze.

Whats the best way to replace the eyes from cc4 charchter in blender? With the ones Auto eye provide.

I just append the autoeye asset to my scene with cc characters and then parent it to the eye bones (ideally in t-pose)

@@MartinKlekner Thanks for the reply! I thought so. I was trying this but for some reason the IRIS wasn't moving right. Did u bake the material? I think this will fix my issue. EDIT: ( I found my issue its not the needing of baking but i had parented bone selected instead of parent relative.)

I've not heard of this addon before but happy to have this golden nugget. However, how does it work with Reallusion characters? I remember sending CC4 characters to blender then messing with the verticies would prevent the model from importing back into CC4, so wouldn't changing the eyes on a CC4 model to a procedual eye with this addon cause problems?

I added the eyes only in the final stage of the character editing, once I was quite sure I wouldn't want to edit it back in CC ;-)

What would be the benefits of this add-on vs importing characters from Character Creator 4 / iClone 8?

I found these eyes look better in Blender than those exported from CC…
