My husband has been driving over 30 years and he told me a story similar to yours. The broker kept calling him, basically tracking him, so he told them to stop calling or he would stop at the scale station and ask the scale master to break seals and inspect the load. He felt this was an illegal load. The broker stopped calling...

When a broker tells you it’s a “hot load” tell them not to worry, it’ll cool down by the time you get it there!

I run the Landstar Connect... that's enough. Been with Landstar 19 years. No macropoint. They don't pay enough for that.

I feel the same about that App. They've tried insisting I download it even on a Friday when I was going thru the house for the weekend. Not happening. There's an electronic log with GPS tracking in this truck now track that. When they say they can't I just respond that's not my problem

My last company wanted me to do the Macro Point thing too; telling me " this customer requires it for this load" It was one of the big auto companies, by the way... I did it that one time and then deleted the app! I'm with you Jason; my answer is... HOW ABOUT NO. !!!

Make sure this gets out there. Last night an idiot went through the trailers here aat the rest area outside Minooka Illinois and cut all the seals and locks on the trailers. Please share this, and keep our drivers safe

They constantly try to make my husband load that app on his phone and he kept refusing, then the company we are leased on with pretty much told us we had too so he did and guess what that app crashed his phone, could not get it back and ended up having to buy another very expensive phone....now we just say well we just will not pull the load unless you're going to reimburse us for our phones.

I’m in Australia and it is just as bad here.Would not want to be hauling toilet paper and getting held up at gunpoint on the highway for it not that it has happened yet but the way things are going,anything is possible.Anyway,keep on trucking & keep safe.

I love the drive from Phoenix to Holbrook thru Payson and Huber. I thought the Detroit and Jake brake would do most of the work.

The drive through Payson to Holbrook is awesome. The elevation is up to about 7500 feet up near Forest Lakes and the drive, in my AZ opinion is much nicer. Next time your in the area try out a Black Rock Coffee Bar location...great coffee and it's a local place.

Oh I love chorizo. I make breakfast wraps with egg, chorizo, jack cheese, Pace medium salsa, diced jalapeno, on a low carb tortilla. Yummy. My idea of east is like Gary, Indiana. Hey it's east...........of Chicago lol. The wife and I did a dedicated run from Chicago to Compton, California and back every week for 7 yrs. Loved it. Safe travels.

Those RV storage places by Loves are actually owned by Loves. There’s another one on I-15 just north of Las Vegas. I had to use them a couple of times. They charge $10 there. Storing your RV there is very expensive also. A buddy stored his short Lance trailer there and paid almost $100/month.

Decades ago I took the Auto train round trip from Lawton , Virginia to Sanford , Florida and back . I saw two movies Bird on a Wire and Throw Momma from the Train . Have Ya'll ever seen the movies ? A funny one is with Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz " The Long Long Trailer " it's very funny .

100% relatable, I ran a load from Antioch Tennessee to Richmond today and the load prior from Laredo to Dalton GA they told me to download that MacroPoint app, I told the guy I had Landstar Connect but he insisted on macropoint so I downloaded it on my business phone and just deleted it after the load was complete

My thoughts have been with you all was hoping you still able to get loads.I am still working I am a driver for a dairy farm,but we my husband and my self go to work and home ,that is it . dump the cassette at rest areas, just dump it down the commode there, no charge at all... that is where I used to dump mine when I was in that situation... you could also take it in to a truckstop bathroom and do it, the "dump station" some places have ALL goes to the same place the toilets drain to.

I've lived in the PHX area for 32 years and love it, came from Houston. Across the freeway from that casino you were staying at is Motorcoach RV resort. They might let you dump the tanks there? Coming in from the west I would use the Flying J at the 67th ave. exit on I-10 to dump and you can get propane there too.

I just want to say you do the best video editing and I love your music. I kind of know your life but yours is better. I was transporting nuclear medicine but instead of a big rig I was in a Toyota senna mini van. I was getting home about every three days. If I got cold I would just cuddle up to a radioactive box 😝

Just thought of an evil use that Agent could use that app for. They would know where ALL your loads were at . (and I bet the app can never totally can be removed when your load is done)

The phone is my personal property not my companies and therefore no downloading app. Now if you they want to buy and pay the monthly charges for a second phone then sure I'll download their app on that phone.
