Explanation: I play igo/go/weichi/baduk as a hobby. This game is easy to play for me because I just have to study openings for a short time, and then the fighting takes over, which just means I need to react by intuition. Question: how, and by what means can I learn chess openings best? Any book recommendations for a beginner? Hope: ignorance is not really bliss but as they said: “let it be “ for this question!

At 9:04, could Nico not have played QxE5 and after Rxd6 Qxd6 he is pressuring the f4 pawn and has the 3 passed pawns, two of which are connected, with a total of a 4 pawn advantage in exchange for the rook with the black king closer to the white queen than vice versa? It would probably be a losing game but I would have played on for a while after that variation in a game of my own (lol only 1700) and seen if i could at least draw
@Rainbowhotpocket

Mil Jov it’s not a blunder if you take back your took. Opponent will be a rook up, but he won’t be able to move the C8 rook because of check possibilities. Game could have went on for another 10 moves or so at least. But yeah, white is clearly losing here

Strange. I must conclude that Nico just didn't see Rh6. Hm, "Mamedyarov now leads, but you know, you know, things can still happen" = Carlsen fan detected. :) I mean, you must admit this. It's not a bad thing to be, **BUT** it is a thing to be (in your reasoning. :)) And things can still happen.
