I love the idea that the Analyst's new solution to the matrix power problem is keeping Neo and Trinity trapped in a simulation where they think they are free, and the more they use their powers, the more they power the matrix. That totally changes the ending of resurrections to be the victory of the machines. "I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my own life." Oh poor, sweet Neo, "choice is an illusion, created by those with power, and those without." What an amazing film series!

The architect and oracle are two sides of the same coin, the analyst is simply the Coin.

There is a tiny, little detail that you miss, Neo and Trinity aren't the singular power source, the Analyst speak as whole, humanity itself, he let questions believe whatever they want if benefit the status quo, not matter how unhinge or crazy it was, the only part that Neo and Trinity participate, is that Neo still had the source code that the machines needed to reboot the Matrix, and keep it stable, remember, the "integral anomaly" was supposedly integrate itself with the Matrix and chose humanity, benefiting the machines as always, but Neo chose different.

"Cost" for the machines is not money. It is processing cycles and energy.

Smith was the real anomaly, not Neo. Smith almost collapsed the Matrix.

The architect used " we" as opposed to "I" when he spoke a few times hinting at his true nature as belonging to deux ex machina. The anamoly refers to free will and the periodic renewal of it in its relation to fit into ritualistic patterns that enslaves its owner

I just re-watched this movie the other day after I first watched it a couple years ago. I didn't quite understand it and just wrote it off but gave it another chance. And I must say it's probably my second favorite in the entire franchise besides the first one

I wish we could get another Matrix movie, I feel like this franchise still has a lot of potential.

DeM was many voices - the Analyist was one of the many. Presumably the most appropriate programs went to handle the problem and can enter a mode for group decision making and collective action.

Because The Analyst got to know from multiple tests which he likes the most that if he attempts to eliminate the anomaly then eventually he will be purged just like The Architect. Thus, The Analyst instead still trying to understand the psyche is exploiting them for efficiency. Now, the question is Trinity and Neo are in a mission to change the Matrix as they see fit. How is the Analyst going to control them? Is it just a false hope or is that The Analyst just like The Architect wants to eliminate the anomaly for a permanent fix of the Matrix are the questions that needs to be addressed.

The Analyst feels like one of the Suits, opting in to make a new Matrix after the Machine Civil War happened. As good as The Architect's version was, what the Oracle did borked it irreconcilably and caused immense damage to many machines. Hence, he was employed by Deus Ex Machina to sack the Oracle and Architect, so that a new Matrix can be made with a better admin program I would doubt that Deus would enter the Matrix, itself, given that it would be super busy repairing what remained of its besieged city. You'd think Agent Smith had successfully breached the city with how much harm was done.

If Deus Machina is like a hive mind representing the machines, then maybe all machines were receiving the same image. Meaning that every machine saw neo at the end. The only reason I can think of is that he was there at the end also as all machines were. I don't know. I'm not smart 😂

This all reminds me of how calculating pi never ends, there will always remainders in sums that cannot be balanced and on a big enough scale can cause an imbalance. The best the machines can hope for is the highest and most optimal level of control possible but there will always be a remainder no matter what they do The only thing they can predict with 100% accuracy is unpredictability and they can’t predict the unpredictable they can only hope to minimize it to the highest decimal place through analysis and experiments

The Oracle was designed to "study" humans and stumbled upon a solution. The Analyst was designed to "control" the solution. The initial solution was religion, and the anomaly was the creation of a Christ and Anti-Christ (or The One vs The Many). Neo was always supposed to sacrifice himself to save humanity due to his love of mankind, but instead he chose the love of a single person. This was the new solution. The machines could not understand love and only used it as a carrot to lead Neo into the Path of the One. They never expected him to grab the carrot because Trinity was always going to die. Neo realized this at the end, sacrifice was his only choice. The Analyst decided to use this love, the longing and pining for love, to power the Matrix. Neo and Trinity must be kept close but separate. However, we all know love will conquer all. HOWEVER, the Wachowski siblings made Resurrections as a big FU to Warner Bros so I don't view the last movie as continuing the lore, just ending it. Especially since Trinity developed the same powers as Neo at the end. That broke all canon rules.

Is there a video about where that platform took Neo? I never saw the new Matrix movie, but from the clips I have seen the Analyst put a lot of resources into rebuilding Neo and Trinity. That platform Machine seems like the most likely one. The thumbnail would be the platform with Neo on it with a red circle around Neo with a caption, Where did they take him? Now we can answer that question. When they shot the last Matrix movie they didn't know what they had planned for the next movie, as far as I know.

It's interesting to think that with all the power Neo has as the chosen one, the Architect might have considered a suggestion he made at the critical juncture of their conversation. The fact that he didn't even suggest a peaceful solution or mode forward speaks to a basic limitation. What is the connection Neo has with the machines, is he a machine now? Started off as a human but now a machine, like evolution. Human evolution, downloading our consciousness (spirit) and fused to a machine in order to live forever.

Deus ex machina was the voice of the machines, tasked with speaking with their creator. Basically god to god. The Analyst spoke more like he was seizing an opportunity to rise to power, to usurp a powerful position. I think that Deus doing that would be a lateral move at best. I like to think the Analyst was just a little bug that scampered away when the big man arrived.

For me matrix 4 it’s not canon, I consider Matrix online as the true sequel of Matrix 3.

I have not watched the fourth movie. From the things you tell it seems the machines went from machines like the Architect that couldn't understand the lesser humans, to machines like the Oracle that couldn't understand them but could predict them, to the end having machines like the Analyst and those that waged war against each other, are now lesser beings, less bound to perfection, but at last able to create by themselves, like the city in real life in collaboration with the humans. Maybe all of them are now hybrids human-machine in mind.

I think Deus Ex Machina is way above the Analyst. DEM might be in fact the entirety of the machine's consciousness. And i think the Analyst is limited to power within the Matrix, and i believe DEM is in control of the real world and the matrix. I miss the Architect, however, after the Analyst. The Architect genuinely seemed to harbor good, almost sweet, intentions for humanity, whereas the Analyst seems to only want to terrorize humanity. Shame.

I watch a lot of your vids and do not mean to be rude but you are still missing one of the biggest and most important factors. The analyst, oracle, architect, neo. They are all "The one." One person. Neo is a human, who planned his life inside the simulation. (like an architect) But if it's too peaceful or too cruel it is not believable. (Duality of man) So we need a world of both good and evil, and a guide to show us the way through. (The oracle) Allows neo to get what he wants without realizing it. Even if he doesnt want too anymore or thinks he doesn't. (The oracle tells him he already made the choice, now he has to find out why) He made himself a character in the story, but he is also the author. The analyst is their to review the process after death. Before the next life/simulation starts. (go ahead paint the sky with rainbows) The analyst knows they can only live out their dreams inside the matrix. And when you die, just plan a new one. Like a game. Wouldnt it be efficient to plan a life as a game dev so that you can gain experience crafting worlds before you die and the next sim starts allowing you to plan your new life. Like a game dev. They are npcs Neo created to guide him and make his existence better. Soulless people, if you will. Neo clearly is supposed to be a hero character, so maybe the marovingian and nightmare matrix were attempts to make himself the hero while making the world the villain. Or maybe he gave into despair at the notion of never truly being free. Either way, I think neo made it all. All of it is one. Neo.

Still making a lot of mess, the integral anomaly is giving the choice for people from the Matrix to leave for Zion. This is the problem: people shoudn't choose to disconnect. Neo is a measure of control himself: every man and woman that is disconnected the Matrix takes account of it in a remainder, that famous remainder of an unbalanced equaton. When the remainder reaches the exact number of Zionites the system uploads the code of the Matrix into an human being built for this purpose and ready to be activated. When Neo dies by the hands of Smith the code is activated and the Matrix starts to crash. That is because it detects two Architects aka anomalies. Smith then starts hunting this clone to terminate it. Neo becomes the Architect in the Arcitect, this is better explained in catholic religion speaking about who is Jesus for God and vice versa. And the path of Jesus returning to God. Since deus ex machina makes a deal with Neo and the Oracle asks the Architect if he's going to accomplish that we can easily say that the baby face was the old Architect in his machine form. DEUS, ex MACHINA. Baby as machine and old as software. The Analyst has no control over the Architect and Oracle because they're at the Kernel level, so at least they can change but not be deleted (Merovingian), he surely trapped them by bot attacking them keeping them into a loop. The cat deja vu holds them into his collar.
