I was gonna comment on your Ascensionism video that their music feels very much like movies/shows do (the best ones at least). the way he plays with tension and release seems to be as loose as that format of storytelling. anyway he can tell his story, he figures it out. regardless of the “box” that music has created a formula in. he figured out the most beautiful way to tell his story through music. I feel like people who are big into video games or anime (you seem like you might be), understand ST almost instantly lol. he does bliss and agony so well man. you can truly feel it. I love that as well as this music is written for his first EP (👀), you can still tell he’s peeling back the first couple layers of himself in the form of music. you’ll really appreciate the evolution of Vessel and his band as you continue. I love your lyric analysis’ too. When the bough breaks is definitely about sex the first couple lines is definitely is. "Just tell me that you noticed even in the dark the way i left you breathing" that to me is probably the sexiest line out of all the sleep token songs.

When The Bough Breaks is just awesome. You can hear the Bristol music scene influence in this early stuff (Massive Attack/Tricky/Portishead vibe). If they went back to reengineer these eps as Tool did with Opiate single, would be incredible.

The fields of elation video you watched was actually the first version of that song that the initially released before the EP. The final EP version had some adjusted tones and mixing which I think sounds better

I am pretty late, but for your information. The EP one is far from being his first work. Before creating Sleep Token he was in in a duet from 2013 to 2015 called Blacklit Canopy. Pretty much every big fans know about it. Even if this comment "reveals" who he is (even tho it's not realy a secret anymore since you can find easily who he is without searching too long), it's just beatiful music and I encourage anyone to have a listen cause it's so freaking good. Vesel is a god damn genious with lyrics.
