i don't think anybody cares about hockey being sold at zumiez. i know i don't, it makes sense to sell your stuff there. i think fa isn't there bc of the name not being brand friendly, soccer moms and whatnot, idk if they could get their boards in zumiez if they wanted to. most big brands are there, baker, santa cruz, creature, real, anti-hero, krooked, almost, toy machine, girl, alien workshop, zero, flip, birdhouse, take your pick. the only noteworthy absences are black label and fa. any brand that wants to 'cool guy' themselves out of zumiez is shooting themselves in the foot.

Who cares that the Berrics does business differently than FA or whoever else. They all contribute to skating and content. Always hated the beef between who’s core enough and who isn’t. If you rag on the Berrics then your ragging on Koston who has done a ton for skateboarding. Personally I watch and follow everything. Most are trying to support skating while also supporting themselves. That can’t be easy.

Zumiez is the biggest skateshop in the United States, possibly the world cause I know they're all over Australia, They looked at all the skate shops being anti mall in the 90s and said fuck it, let's take over the malls. It worked. if you cornered the market on that model alone, you'd wouldn't complain about the money that it's made over the years. Is it the best shop ever? No, support your local shops, always! But guess What? What If you only have one shop in town and they only carry so many things? Order online or Go to Zumiez? I'm gonna go to Zumiez. They carry Girl, chocolate, primitive, FA, Hockey, Blind, spitfire, Indy, all the shit these little kooks like. Doesn't mean those brands are any lesser of a brand because of it. That pays the bills of those pros, especially pros that aren't making girl type of money or F.A type of money and they need it if they live in California.😂
