I FRIGGIN LOVE that dude on the Cover Barrelling down on top of everybody with 2 Heavy Chainaxes. What a Madman, love it. Would really like to have seen a Rage-Doc(Berserker surgeon) Model, and I really think the WE should Have bikes with Chain blades coming out of them.

Love this type of video! It's not my first army, but I'm pretty sure it will be an army I get into in the future. Would love to see more videos like this in the future, with an overview of other armies, and the basics of how they play! 😊

Really liked the video, I totally agree with what you said. 👍 Another great appeal World eaters have, is that they are relatively easy army to paint, only a few key colours are needed throughout the army. This means they are also cheaper to paint than other factions, (the cost of paints can start to add up!) Khorne Daemon allies use mostly the same paints, so they can also benefit from this. Also both World eaters and Khorne daemon have recently had their upcoming combat/boarding patrol box sets previewed, both of which would be great for this faction, Two of the world Eaters one, would be a big part of the suggested list in this video and the daemon one gives you a great allied patrol detachment. Lastly the core units of world eaters are great, whether you decide to add a daemon allied detachment, Angron, a lord of skulls, maybe a few Leviathan dreadnoughts to your list, the Berzerkers, juggernaut lords and Eightbound are a great core to have in every list.

What an amazing crossover! Well done both Titans and Liam! I personally think Flesh Tearers would be a better faction that World Eaters. I saw a Flesh Tearers army absolutely stomp a World Eaters army the other day and it was very funny!

I’m an old Eldar player from the 90s with multiple factions and I’m STILL starting World Eaters because one, sometimes I want to play a simpler faction that doesn’t require a lot of mental gymnastics and two, I’ve been waiting for a world eaters codex since 8th!

I got into 40k two years ago, and decided to start a World Eaters army. I had to start my Berzerkers over with the new models, but I'm happy they got a codex and new stuff. Great time for World Eaters right now.

Good video Liam well presented. If I did not have a pile of gray I would consider WE. I will say that for me time to tabletop is one thing new players need to consider. Building and painting large model count factions for me has been a bigger challenge than complex rules. I would say Custodes are a good option because of lower model count.

my World Eaters i run x2 Defilers, i know crazy right, are they good? yeah! are they great? ummm, are they fantastic? no, but for 195pts kitted with Twin-Lascannon and Scourge, the Lascannon just adds an extra omph to the Defiler Cannon and suddenly this thing is a range threat, but you don't want this thing sitting in the backlines being a ranged threat, no, this bad boy wants melee, x5 str 16, -3ap, d6 damage attacks, plus another x3 str 12, -2ap, 2 damage attacks, it slaps hard, these are your 'distraction carnifexes' that need to be dealt with and the rest of your army needs.

My first army, Grey Knights... small model range was nice, but rolling up to my first GT and trying to remember all my rules was not.

Get in the comments? Ooooh, how can I resist...! Daemons' new book has made them a great starter faction too. With unit sizes being more fixed and instruments/icons becoming free, there are less choices to worry about when putting your models together. This ties in with the book having similarly pared-down trait, relic and strat options. You also have numerous big centrepieces to choose from, and the army benefits from every unit looking different which means you don't get into any kind of painting fatigue. Lastly, the way that daemonic invulnerability works makes working out your saves a lot easier, while also meaning you don't really care so much about cover, unless it's Dense or Obscuring. :)

It's funny as a new player this was the army I'm naturally drawn to, I've bought a single bezerker off eBay to give it a paint and make sure I enjoy painting them. This video is reassuring, thanks 👍

ok I remove one unit of jakhals and put havoc lancher and combi bolter on the rhino and it made it 2k if you have any other idea how to make this list work let me know

The major problem with starting with any army right now is that in just a few months we will be in an entirely new edition and so for those of us who have to be economical and plan out our lists before buying things, this is a terrible time to start any army. By the time I actually get a new army built and painted we will be in the next edition and there will be completely new rules and the list I will have spent so much time working towards will be likely unplayable. I personally bought some World Eaters already for all the reasons youve said but I realize I probably wont get a whole army of them done before this edition is over. So i haven't even bothered getting their codex.

Agreed, world eaters are great for a beginner. Especially when all you need to buy 1 World eater combat patrol, 2 eight bound boxes and 1 rhino. That’s 990 points to get you started at 1k games at $338. then add your $10 paint brush set from hobby lobby and $38 40K paint + tool set and a can of black spray paint for $5-8 bucks and you’re in total for around $400. Which is insane, GW prices are grossly over costed and a horrible company who has created the most amazing scifi world which cuts me to the core. $400 in USD with 15% off products accounted for, so a full 2k list is $800ish after everything said and done.

I still can't decide/stick to an army. To many choices

I've been saying this for years, SM are not a good starter army for 40K. There's literally around a 100 units you have to sift through, not to mention the different chapters who have a ton of their own rules and heaps of stats and traits you have to learn and know.

Trying to avoid HAVING to buy eightbound...

Disagree, playing pure melee is punishingly hard for a new player who doesn’t understand terrain. It takes a strong player to pilot well and not lose every game. Adeptus Custodes are the answer for cheap entry - and they are pretty straight forward. Sure they are melee focused, but the 4++ will help a new player not immediately die when they make a mistake. From a straight, I understand my book point of view, I hear you, but to play well you need to learn other armies too, so you might as well bite the bullet and just pick the models you like. (Also tenth is like 10 seconds away blah blah blah) ❤ the content tho - you guys rule
