When you are discussing parallel batteries around 11:00 I think you are mistaken by having a "lead" battery having everything connected to it and the second one just feeding it. To use the batteries equally, you should be using the positive post of one battery and the negative post of the other one, making it one big battery, charging and discharging equally.

I run lithum pros in my boat as well expensive but well worth it with the power pole charge!

At 11:46 describing the series connection isn't just for lead acid and AGM, the same would be for 3 LiFePO4 in series to get 36v. Not everyone is going to buy a 36v battery.

Great video. Im about to by 3 12 volt lithium batteries for my 112 ultrex. When hooking up the 3 bats in series do you add all three AH together like you do when bats are hooked Is up parallel? I too have the PP charge.

I wish I would have put this on my walleye boat. The charge would give me endless power when using the kicker and trolling motor to troll. Kicker has a 6amp alternator on it.

So what happens when your idling/graphing and your engine is charging your cranking batteries and when they are fully charged the battery BMS cuts off accepting the charge current. Then the engine alternator won’t have anywhere to send the current and it can over heat!

Is it true lithium pro batterys 36v 40 volt while useing the power pole charge, only gains a few minutes of power on a run? You can’t gain a hour of trolling motor charge while running the boat for 30 mins ex? If your battery is dead, Can you run boat to charge trolling Moter batteries or no? dakota Lithium 36V set is $1000 cheaper with almost twice the run time then Lithium pro. lithium pro 36V battery is only 65ah compared to Dakota's 1000ah battery. Also the Dakota batteries have 11 year warranty as where Lithium Pro only has 2 years. and still under warranty Lithium Pro also still charge you $550 services fee not including you still having to pay shipping. this is far from the best lithium battery setup.. i didnt even see a B.O.S... all that money into batteries know that you could of saved 1k and having 2 times better set up.. dont be miss lead by what people say, go do your research on stuff before you buy. Dont be afraid to email or call Company's customer service and ask them questions about their products
