My very first pocket knife was a boker. It was my great grandpa's and down the line, I can't believe dad gave it to me when I was so young but he's a very kind man. The main blade was almost sharpened down to nothing. Sits in my safe. My dad's dying. I think I'll put it in his casket so he can whittle in heaven.

Love boker knives, living in the UK we can't really get our hands on any of the fancy locking knives most Americans take for granted, at least not for EDC carry, boker takes care of us with a good selection of slip joints, currently carry the boker plus xs drop point and love it, great feel in the hand, strong backspring and inexpensive

Well living in Germany, i can only say the same. Except that Böker has a bit more selection for the specific laws on edc over here, understandable if they are from germany. almost sad that the ceo didn‘t say what the 42 in a lot of their knives stands for, as it refers to the specific paragraph of laws regarding bladed weapons in Germany. Meaning the knives with the 42 in the name are legal to be carried in Germany and not be regarded as carrying of a blades weapon, making them legal to carry in most European countries without a problem, as most countries here have similar laws to that regard.

I got a secondhand Kalashnikov at my local pawn shop for 15 dollars. A little dinged up, and I didn’t know much about them at the time, but was amazed at how well it fired and loved the tanto blade. To this day it is one of my most carried knives, and I can’t wait to grab a couple more of them. Phenomenal knives, and absolute workhorses.

Its amazing to read about the CEO of böker/boker. A lot of you pay respect to the open minded, calm and friendly kind of a business guy. But maybe exactly that's the secret and the big different to other CEO worldwide not only from the US. He is authentic because there is no need to fake anything - not for a better business. And that exactly is the basement of a good business - standing on solid ground with your character. I'm proud about this german CEO as a German and böker fan.

watching this makes me miss Zac a bit. Don't get me wrong, I love Kurt and Dallas. Awesome guys and they're both a lot of fun, but man...Zac really took the ball and ran with it when he was hired on, and he just made a point to know his stuff. This is also a great example of how strong Zac was when it came to making relationships with makers and designers. He spoke well, and had a lot of energy, and everyone liked him. It's a very different channel these days, and he is missed.

Awesome video! Actually in Germany at the end of a training rotation right now getting ready to go back to the states, but if this COVID craziness hadn’t happened I would have definitely loved to take a tour of the Boker factory. I honestly never was a huge Boker person until I came here and saw so much of their product being sold. Glad to see it is all run by such a great figure, not something you always see nowadays. Just a nice reprieve from all the craziness that you constantly hear about in the world right now, so thanks again for this great video!

When I was a kid in the 1960's , my Grandpa sent my Grandmother to the local drug store { which sold Boker and other knives} to get him a new pocket knife. This was a big deal for a poor kid like me and I was excited to get to go with her. His only requirement was "Get one made in Germany ". I was 67 years old when my aunt died and I inherited this knife !! I carry it now and the knife still functions perfectly and holds a sharp edge . To me personally this knife is priceless, and is without a doubt my favorite knife.

Love my Kalashnikov with CTS-XHP blade steel, definitely a super steel. Have two 4474 Stockmans that are amazing. And have numerous other Boker stockmans. Amazing knives. The CTS-XHP steel in my Kalashnikov holds an edge like no other steel I have used in a knife. Great video.

Boker's awesome. I lost a couple of screws from a scale and the clip on my urban trapper petite while moving. When I asked how much it was going to cost for replacements, they said they would pay for parts and shipping. Will definitely recommend them to other people who might be interested in their knives.

This is such a great Banter! Was grinning and laughing the whole way and got a little misty eyed with the amazing razors. What a class act of a CEO! im not saying everything they make is amazing, but the sheer vastness of their catalog is hard to believe. They literally make something for everyone, and they do offer a lot of value and quality across the brand. Ive yet to own a Magnum knife, but im sure there will be one for me at some point.

First of all... Awesome vid! And 2nd... yes we want the full story on the Kalashnikov. Böker is my favorite knife brand mainly because my dear friend that got me into quality knives gave me one (Boker Arbolito “El Héroe”), then I was gifted the Brad Zinker urban trapper, and then I went on to buy 2 more on my own. The last two I purchased from Blade HQ. And I’m hoping to get in the near future a Boker Scout lockback, then a 3” to 5” fixed blade (not sure which one yet, but it’s for camping and grilling) and “last” a straight edge

Kalashnikov symbolic is kinda neat. Kalashnikov made the famous rifle on the basis of German WW2 automatic rifle STG 44. Now Kalashnikov's name is on German automatic knives.

yeah, it's tiny though. seems to come in D2, VG10 and AUS-8. all great options. The kwaiken auto (US made) is 154cm

My first ever Boker knife arrived (from amazon sadly) 2 days ago. I got the Gorm bread knife and it cuts like a light saber. Also ordered 2 other Gorm chef knives and they're being shipped from Germany (cuz no US availability) so they'll be here in a couple weeks.
