Very late but really like this, a lot of people overextend the back which can be a problem. Important to not go beyond what feels natural
@kirankumar7923

1. Stance: Verical jump stance, usually, 8-12 inches. Toes pointed slightly out (10-30 degrees). Bar should be directly above the midfoot. 2. Grip: Double overhand with thumbs about 1 inch away from legs. Without lowering the hips or bending the knees(stiff-legged), grip the bar. 3. Initial Position: When the grip is secured, bend knees forward till shins just touch the bar. Shove knees out just a little so that they're in contact with elbows. Don’t lower your hips. 4. Chest Up: Squeeze your chest up, remove the slack off the bar. Try keeping chin down and spine aligned. 5. Breath and Pull: Take a big breath, hold the breath and then drag the bar up your legs. Go up till arms are straight, chest is up and then lock knees and hips. Bar should always be in contact with legs. 6. Lowering the bar: Down should be exactly opposite of the up. Lower the bar by unlocking hips and knees. Let the bar slide down your thighs. Never unlock your back till the bar touches the floor.

This was really good. Probably the quickest and most informative explanation I’ve heard. Given my recent recommended shorts I was fully expecting: Step 1 approach the bar Step 2 lift the bar Step 3 lower the bar
