I just got a circular saw and I'm not sure what took me so long! This is so easy to use and it makes cutting plywood a breeze! No more holding, balancing, or maneuvering it solo. I love how safe and effective this is.
Let me know if you try it!

I had that same thought. I have an old Toyota Tacoma with a 6’ bed and that piece of foam would fly right out if I tried to transport it. But Home Depot rents trucks for $19.95 for a hour (that’s what it used to be anyway), so that would be the handiest way to get it home. The foam is a sheet of rigid insulation that will be in the section with all the other insulation materials. They come in different thicknesses, but 3/4 inch will be deep enough, maybe even a 1/2 inch if you adjust your circular saw so that the blade doesn’t hang down very far below the plywood that you’re cutting. Good luck!

The first one was what is called a straight edge clamp. A few different companies make them but I like the Progrip. The second one appears to be the Kreg Ripcut Guide. Hope this helps!

It will last for years. Otherwise you will need a table saw with extra surfaces or build your own cutting grid out of 2x4 sawhorses etc. No easy way out to be safe n fast. Cheapest foam is about $15 for 1 inch thickness.

Did you know the bast way to hasten planetary demise is by needlessly creating plastic waste and cutting it up in to toxic micro plastics breathing it in as you go, we’ll done you

The Earth needs plastic. It couldn't create it by itself so it made humans that could manufacture plastic. The Earth isn't prejudice about plastic like some libs are. It thinks of it just like another one of it's children. What's the meaning of life? The Earth would tell us, "Plastic!".

It's hard to be sure but I would imagine the saw guard is set to depth that it doesn't cut through the insulation, hence no mask.
