I love Japanese pull saws, but I find that I end up going through blades fairly quickly, especially since I work mostly with harder woods :( You piqued my interest with “non-disposable Japanese saw blades”. Are these sturdier than, say, the suizan ryoba blades? And how would I go about getting one of these bad boys? My google search has yielded no fruit on this I’m afraid.

Also, the teeth can be set for soft or hard woods. I have about fifteen or more saws in different configurations for varying purposes.

If I'm not mistaken that is a Nagakatsu saw! I have the very same saw! Brought mine from a shop in Japan Cuts like a dream and extremely straight well worth the money it cost👍
