New theory: Ginny suggested the most ridiculous names and Harry was the only one who backed her up, but the rest of the Weasley family were like "No! You aren't naming our niece/nephew/grandkid Mellopellius!". Eventually, she got to choose her daughter's middle name, Luna, without any objections.

I can’t believe that the Half-Blood Prince is the goofiest movie in the series and at the same time it’s the movie where Dumbledore died, which is one of the only character deaths in a movie/book that made me cry

i love that i see this has been posted after i genuinely just spent an hour doing the math of how it’s physically impossible for professors at hogwarts to teach all lessons for their subject with just one teacher cause thats about 39 hours of teaching time per week (unless they do about 6hours of lessons all 7 days a week) the stars truly have aligned

My theory is that they don't yeah every class everyday. I remember Harry saying they had another potions lesson 3 days later (in the books). So....yeah

@@straww_berryyy yeah, the students dont have each lesson every day, youre right! but the way i worked it out (and i might be wrong lol) is that theres 3 hours per subject each week for 1st and 2nd years, 2.5 hours per subject each week for 3rd to 5th years and 2 hours per subject each week for 7th and 8th years. Thats 17.5 hours per week of teaching assuming theres only 1 class per yeargroup. But Harry’s year is ~40 kids big so thats 2 classes per year which is 39 hours of teaching a week for one teacher to manage all the students. Dependent on the popularity of the subject that might be only 35 hours if the NEWT class is small enough, but thats still a lot of hours. :)

It’s definitely horror, in the sense outside of the cannibalism scene in chapter three (I think) the fic focuses on obsessive and unhealthy relationships. Makes you feel icky for a bit afterwards but also makes you think about what it means to be happy and morality etc etc.
