Bedok 85 food hunt! Today I came to this 'secret' hawker centre only the locals know! After trying around 6 stalls (I came back here the next day after filming this video), I have come to love this hawker centre. It’s probably my favorite now. The oyster pancake, dumplings, BBQ chicken wings… everything so good. Please let me know your favorite stall of Bedok 85 so I can visit again. Huat AH!!

Bedok has the most hawker centers and coffeeshop! Every 10 steps you find eateries🤣 Basically east area,siglap,simpang bedok,marine parade,katong etc

Hiiii Ghib-san, I will like to recommend you go back to Bedok 85 at night. Bedok 85 Hawker Centre is known to be a supper spot! It is open in the morning to service the older folk and the nearby residents, but night time is the magical time to go. The place is packed with Singaporeans from different parts of Singapore, they all drive here for food. 1. The most famous stall is Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian #01-07, (not the corner stall), closed on Thurs. 2. Chai Chee Pork Porridge #01-210 3. Chan BBQ - best dish sambal sting ray #01-24 Good luck, hope you enjoy it!!!

Yup Bedok North Blk 85 aka Fengshan hawker centre is a NIGHT hawker centre with more stalls open at night. Blk 58 Bedok South hawker centre is a MORNING hawker centre where most stalls operate in the morning. Bedok has some of the cheapest hawker stalls in Singapore.

Ghib San, you are becoming more and more like Singaporean. Very adventurous in our local food. The pig organ soup meal that u are eating is pig stomach, v chewy and delicious. Singaporeans like to cook this as pig stomach soup with pepper, chicken/pork. Great that you are enjoying our local food. Cheers 🍻

Blk 85 is a two world hawker center. Morning till noon portion which you went...and the portion is 5pm till midnight .. evening stalls are BBQ,,fried foods....grilled...

Yes, Market 85 is an ideal place for dinner and supper. U should visit Market 58, New Upper Changi Rd. There are good food there too, ideal for breakfast and lunch. Furthermore, there are total 5 coffee shops in that area with hidden good food.

You should visit Bedok 85 in the late afternoon or evening. The stalls open during that period is even worth the try!

That pancake thing is from fujian fuqing i think, from a Chinese village. Quite popular in Indonesia, Chinese minorities from fuqing sold those in restaurants and called them Ote Ote. Its my favourite too

People go to Bedok 85 hawker centre for dinner or supper as the stalls open till late at night. An alternative place nearby is Bedok 511 hawker centre. Both places sell same dinner and supper food such as soup Bak Chor Mee (they specialise in the soup version whereas most of the time other places specialise in the dry version), BBQ chicken wings, satay, BBQ sambal stingray and fried oyster. People in the East would head to Bedok 85 or Bedok 511 for supper. Near town area is Newton Hawker Centre. In the North is Chomp Chomp Hawker Centre. In the West is Boon Lay Place Hawker Centre where the famous Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak is but you can also find similar food like Hokkien mee, BBQ chicken wings, sambal stingray and fried oyster at all these places.

Bedok 85 is mostly for dinner/supper. The bak chor mee, sambal stingray and the fried ngor hiang prawn fritter stall are my personal favourites. You have to go at night to get the most of it.

I've been to Blk 85 countless of times but I've never had the gyōza and oyster pancakes. Maybe it's because I always go at night. You have to go at night!! It's super crowded even with Covid 😅 That bak chor mee the guy introduced you and BBQ food are must gets!

Minced pork noodle or bcm at nearby blk 58 market in the morning is v good. There are two stalls here. Whereas at this blk 85, there are three stalls selling BCM.

U should visit here in the evening! There are many many popular stalls with very good food. Especially the stretch facing NTUC.

You have to visit this place after 9pm at night, the bar Chor Mee and the pork porridge, carrot cake are superb. Please revisit again. They have two set of stalls - 1 for the morning and 1 for the night

Try visiting Chomp Pang Hawker Centre! The Satay and BBQ chicken wings over there are really good! Only visit at night though most stalls are not open in morning and afternoon.

Your viewer in this video is correct - this hawker centre has very famous minced pork noodles soup but I believe they only open for dinner. Also the duck rice that you showed at the start of your video is also very good - this opens for lunch.

this is the hawker from my hometown. Feels good seeing this despite being in america in the middle of a pandemic right now. And yes there are 2 chicken rice stalls and they are both better than tiantian.

You need to go at 6pm. Eat mince meat noodles, bbq chicken wings, oyster eggs, satay! Bbq stingray with sambal. Yumz. Only evenings! There’s only 1 item that’s worth day time, over there. Porridge ! A stall that needs you to queue. But it’s famous

Was in Queensland, Australia recently and we saw endless fields of sugarcane. Even though it was oppressively hot and everyone could do with a cool quenching drink there was not a single sugarcane drink vendor.........it’s unheard off🥵🤔🤪

You have got to try the Satay Beehoon which CookiesfromBelow mentioned earlier. It is one of the best I have ever tasted besides the one at the Tanjong Pagar Hawker Centre. They open for business in the evening somewhere between 4 - 5 p.m. if I am not wrong.

You should move to the East (Bedok or Tampines); their close proximity to all the eateries in areas Bedok, Kallang airport, Katong, Geylang, East Cost, etc (and the list just goes on and on) means you do many food review for months and also add a "tonnes" to your weighing scale :)

You tried the mix pork intestine soup for the 1st time, 👍. The one you mentioned nice is the pig stomach, my favorite. You can order just the pig stomach soup & eat with a bowl of rice.

Wah should visit another time at night, eat bar Chor mee, satay, chicken wing and stingray. The Chai Chee pork porridge shop there is also very good! Sometimes they set up durian store near the incense shop also.

Youme I see you are just as old school as I am. I personally felt standards fell when they started mass producing in the mid 2000s. Literally had noodles sitting in bowls waiting for soup to be poured in. They became pancakes

I am still looking for the Towkay who first cooked/offered me Bak chor mee when i was working at Ayer Rajah Industry Basement1, coffee shop that was year 2003, 17 years ago.....really missed his Bak chor mee. I was searching him all most everywhere in Singapore but still looking for him.

Also try boon lay market, power nasi lemak, fried hokkien mee, bbq chicken wings, fried oyster is great there. Yishun park hawker centre too

Like the ba chor mee stall there. Personally, I have stopped eating the pancake because it's re-using the oil to fry, which is quite unhealthy. Again, once in a while is fine. :)

There are morning hawker centre and afternoon hawker centre in Singapore. Like Whampoa Hawker centre they have 2 blocks one has stalls that operate mostly in the morning and the other block operates mostly in the afternoon too evening. Some very good stalls only opens in the morning and gone by noon. Those are some of the stalls you would need to hunt.

That was ground i used to walk around 10-20years ago. My grandma used to sit in the center of the place in the morning drinking coffee chatting with her "auntie" friends while and my family would come down(I lived in blk 91) for breakfast and find her sitting there. But that was many many years ago. She left this planet a few years ago. But that's in the past. You should go back there around 5.30pm for dinner (it's gonna be packed if you go there any later).

Perhaps you should clearly show the stall front and name and also list the places where you have tried the food in the description, so we can find it.
