This Homemade Mc Burger Bun is soft and tender just right for your Burgers
RECIPE:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar (you can use l/8 cup)
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup warm milk (Evaporated milk makes this very tasty) Diluted
2 eggs
Sesame seeds (optional)
METHOD:
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add softened butter and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk and eggs. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal parts. Roll each part into a ball and flatten it slightly to form a bun shape. Place the buns on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover with a damp cloth and let them rise again for 30-40 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the buns with a beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top, if desired.
Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
Once the buns are cool, cut them in half and use them for your burgers.
