That's exactly it. Like it's not as simple as "throw everything at Heritage!" There's a lot of benefit to leveraging different platforms for different needs! Hopefully someday you have to be making decisions line this with your collection haha. Will probably be quite substantial by then!

eBay just is and always will be the best option for 90% of stuff. I assume the massive Heritage vs eBay prices will level off in the future more.

haha it really is the risk you run! If it's a really popular title, you'd almost for sure be "fine", but there are always some items each week that only get a few bids😬

I would probably take a shot on heritage with 1 of them if you can. You'll need at least 10k worth of stuff in order to consign now, though. The NFRs are almost always selling for less than actual black label copies on most other games. I assume MW2 would be the exact same.

I'd recommend just doing eBay or socials for titles like that! Auctions in general have become riskier these days as prices trend downwards.

Oh boooyyy.. potentially... That's such a "guessing game" that requires a lot for relative price comparisons on a lot of like items. It's a big reason why heritage auctions are so hot right now, everyone is "guessing" on what things "should cost"

Yea reserves just ruin auctions from everything I've seen. Unless the reserve is super low, people just don't even bother haha. And this one had sooooo many redos as it was numerical based haha

On the low end, it's more about it being "worth it" to ship with tracking or else you have to risk it with untracked shipping. So at minimum something like $30. But for us in Canada, with shipping being $15 for tracked, it has to be closer to $50.

It's very interesting to me that your experience has been so negative. I've never really had issues (outside of the normal BS here and there). Expensive cards, games, etc. always sell well so long as priced competitively

@@GetTheGreg yes unfortunately my experience has been one of sheer frustration with ebay. ive bought rare games on there for a premium from sellers who post pictures at just right angles and claimed the game was "very good" or "like new" to only receive a game thats acceptable at the most with scratches on the disc chewed up art work etc. they cant even clean or make the games look decent. no some send them like they found them in the trash somewhere and just mailed it out. it truly is hit or miss and a gamble. you honestly dont know what your going to get as a buyer from ebay. what really bust my bubble is that i will often get a mint common title but a disgusting rare title. but once in awhile ill get a rare title that is just like they described it and sent wrapped up nicely in a box and cared for properly.

Damn man. I know it can definitely be a crapshoot at times. Have you joined a lot of game collecting Facebook or Instagram pages? I know they can provide a really good alternative to eBay - and you get to buy from people who actually have a clue what they are doing haha.

Thanks a lot man! Yea, there will definitely be some pushback from people here and there regarding what I talk about, but that's ok. I would rather share with people who want to learn than try and convince the people who aren't interested. No matter what you do, someone will be mad about it haha. I will definitely do a Limited Run video in the future! I'm not too hot on them, personally, but I will have to formulate a whole argument haha.

This new gold rush into sealed games is bringing with it a ton of people who lack the fundamental basis to properly operate - or how to make educated decisions, like not buying the trilogy editions for ANY PS2 games haha. I also mainly operate on eBay but I have a select few titles that I think would be better suited to heritage. Always a risk to trust the auction process though.

@@GetTheGreg really the items that should be going to heritage are extremely popular games like sealed bros 3 or rare items like NWC carts
