Every time I play this game, I'm blown away. From looking out the side window, while spinning out, to hugging a corner so tight it screams, poke me. I love GT7 VR. I can't wait to show it to people I like as well.

You can sort of reposition yourself in the seat by doing the opposite of what you want to do and resetting your position by holding options. For example: If you're too close and want to move back, move forwards and reset your position and sit back into your normal position.

A really basic way to get the mph from kph is to divide by 3, then multiply that by 2 (i.e. 180/3 = 60. 60x2 = 120). It's not exact, but quickly gives you a rough figure without needing to grab a calculator, and can be done while driving.

To move your view farther from the wheel you have to look down at the bottom of the wheel and then reset by holding the options button. Sadly you have to redo it every race and every time you restart.

Hey pantha you need to remove the yellow markers that appear on track. You can disable it in the assist menu to make it more immersive.

I genuinely want there to be a VR co-op mode where one person drives HUD-less, and another player feeds them information from the pit wall where they have all the telemetry.

The in car ui is fine, just imagine its a small screen on your dashboard. The race ui however being in the middle of the screen is obnoxious as hell!

Oh my. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the big yellow apex markers and they definitely don’t belong in VR. The only hud/on screen info you really need (during races with pitstops) is the little box where you can see the track/weather map, power output and traction controle. It’s been such a amazing experience. PSVR2 and GT7 is a match made in heaven. ❤

Omg sat watching videos thinking who wants to walk around a VR car in a showroom. Then I bought a PSVR 2 and its all become clear. What a piece of kit, truly amazing and as many have said until you experiance it you just won't get it. Alot of money but my god worth every penny so far

You need to buy the manual transmission from the shop to use the clutch, I believe race transmission is semi auto, so you don't need the clutch

I really like GT7, it is better than any other racing game out there with the VR, one thing I would like is for them to make spring races, I really liked those from older games, so you are not going circles but A to B.

Gt7 is probably the game I play the most with my vr and I think it's awesome, but! With all of the detail they put in I wish when you go check a car out in the showroom and get close, the reflection of the area around you looks like mine craft. That's my only gripe. I'm amazed how I get glare of the sun off of the plastic over the gauges and the light passing through the cabin realistically when driving under lights, so the level of detail is super high otherwise.

If GT made a open world VR version of this game, I’d be game over for my personal life.

I'm definitely motivated to buy a PS, maybe the next version when there's more games and I can afford it, but so far it looks incredible for the price, just waiting to see if there would even be competition in the next 2 years or so....

I love the no hud view but you need to know your tyre wear in races with pit stops it's a shame they could like put the gauges on a physical display attached to the car or your suit or something

There is just one youtuber that honestly mentioned what to expect from psvr that the graphics and resolution you see is not as clear as you see it in a youtube video. I had psvr 2 and returned it. While it was immersive the level of graphics still looks like a 2010 game and the curent lenses on psvr2 have a very very narrow sweet-spot otherwise things get really blurry. While i think vr is awesome and the future , for me it is just not there yet. P.s. would prefer non oled screen but with pancake lenses any day.

Question and help needed. So after couple of hours of playing I have used to the VR in the car but there is still one part of the track which is just uneasy for me. How do you all deal with chicanes? It is the only moment on the track my brain just go nuts and tries everything he can to prepare my body for the incoming from both directions G-Forces. It is not something that makes me sick or something but just annoys me 😅

Gran Turismo is Gran Turismo.

Previous iterations of games in VR on the PSVR1 were unplayable. This is the first iteration which is actually playable and there are people who genuinely (and are fortunate to) enjoy it to the point they can’t go back to flat screen racing. It’s like THEY feel the immersion that I’ve always wanted to feel with VR1 - but for some odd reason, I am still not feeling it with my headset. I might have a defective headset as I am not getting the sense of things being bright - both in terms of luminosity and color richness - so it feels like I’m still viewing things through a helmet - which is a weird thing to say because you’re supposed to have a helmet on when racing to begin with.

it really look as real life with VR. What we need is a game as good in simulation as assetto, with the same shutoko mods, with some better UIs, no mirror issues, no weird arcade mods and a great multiplayer. with that you have the whole sim community playing at your game.
