The best way make Ichiran Ramen at home - an alternative way with Wagyu beef

3 жыл бұрынThe Bento Buster, a Kiwi in Japan, shows an alternative way to prepare the famous Ichiran Tonkotsu ramen at home using wagyu beef instead of pork chashu as a topping.
Note: Ichiran instructions suggest to use 450ml of water portion. However if you want more broth I think boiling 550ml of water in the pot would be ok.

Yep 👍 that’s right. I get the ice cream from a local supermarket. It’s a good find. From NZ, Excellent quality and really cheap for Japan only $6.

Beautiful! Best looking instant ramen for sure, and best tasting too by the looks of it!! I've gotta go get me some of that liquid gold! Wagyu might be a bit trickier to find though, haha!

Yes it’s not that far off the Japanese price looks like $25 to $30 for the 5 portion pack.

@@bentobuster6995 Runs around £36 in the UK for a box of 5, which is about $52 at current rates, when I get them imported from amazon.

@@Iymarra I wonder how much a bowl of ramen is at their international stores. About 800 yen for the basic one. I know the cup ramen 🍜 versions are expensive overseas. They are 480 yen here but I have seen them for $50 for 4 and then $50 for 1 on amazon by 3rd party sellers.

450ml is too little in my opinion and the noodles are absorbing the broth thus making the broth even lesser.

Yep I agree that’s what it says on the pack. It’s not enough so add a bit more to your liking.
