After seeing you on a diabetes sisters webinar, I found your book on Amazon and read through it. It made a lot of sense so I finally joined a gym that has a pool and have been doing water aerobics 3x a week (fasted, no iob)for the last couple of weeks and every time I get out of the pool I am over 200. I was so worried I was going to have a hypo because I have not exercised for over an hour in years. Every time it has gone up. All I can figure is it's more of a strength training workout, because we use the underwater weights and bands during the second half of the class. It's really not a cardio class cuz my heart rate doesn't go up over 100-105. It's really the only thing I enjoy and I would hate to have to stop that because it's making my sugars too high. I have a really hard time walking because I'm very heavy and I take huge amounts of insulin(a pod per day + Levemir). I appreciate your information Ginger it really helps me try to figure things out.

@@mlcarver1739 don’t stop your swimming! It sounds like you might need a tiny bolus before swimming! There’s a whole chapter in the book!!!

I feel lot of pain while taking insulin on stomach or if I take on any other part ofbody it does not work and increase my sugar level
