Re: the end statement about GG - I remember reading that back in the old Starcraft days, it was rude for the winner to say GG because it was presumptive. It was on the loser to determine whether or not the game was good, because they had the most to lose. Like of course you think the game went well when you won. So that may be why people get bent out of shape when you say "GG" after you get a 4K. They don't know you're just trying to be nice, they think you're being smug about it, which you're not, but that is how it be sometimes.

i think it is very interesting how i just had the same idea about the perks and add ons :) i used that green addon to get my adapt. my perbuild was nurses, ruin, undying and tinkerer as well. i just dont have bbq on him now. if i would have it i would have the same as you :D as a survivor main i do hope they will make this green addon into a ultra rare. but i acctually do really enjoy playing him and thats why i would love to keep it that way. idk how to decide :D i am very happy that you made this video, it confirmed that i finally have a clue on what is good on killers :)

I was thinking a good build for him would be Barbecue and chill, Pop goes the weasel, Dragon's grip, and Corrupt with those addons, I feel like that would be pretty strong for him as well. Really cool video Tofu.

Blight can also capitalize on the info from BBQ amazingly because he can basically cross-map at will when his power is charged

Compound 21 used to be part of compound 33 but they reworked compound 33. It used to give a speed boost for sequential dashes and reveals auras on a slam.

I come from playing Magic the Gathering, and generally you say GG and shake the opponents hand after a match. There's always been talk about handshake etiquette and people being salty and not saying GG and all that kind of stuff. Even articles about it, lol. In my mind, GG is more like 'Nice to meet you, had fun, good luck' than an agreement that the game went smoothly, yknow? Just say GG back and go about your life, lol.

Moment I saw these addons on release that these two would combo very well

The killer who got the biggest buff from Blight’s perks was trapper. Hex undying + ruin combined with the bloody coil add on for traps makes him extremely dangerous. I used those two perks along with thanataphobia ( they basically stay hurt) and discordance. Survivors try to team up a lot with ruin & stick gens as long as possible. I played 3 matches with him at rank 5 vs mostly red rank (1s & 3s) and would’ve mercilessed all three matches if not for the damn hook glitch.

The “gg” saying, in personal experience, has two different meanings behind them. Yes, there are people, lots of them, who are being good sports when they say it, but there are some that say it in an arrogant way, yknow what I mean? I remember, multiple times, after a match where the victorious killer or survivor says “gg”, then proceeds to shit talk and explaining in excruciating detail how much I sucked 😒. So if I had to guess, that guy probably didn’t have a good time with the game 😅

7:09 - 7:45 I think because they increased the servers tickrate lunges feel a little shorter due to the server being more accurate.

Compound 33 shows you a score event when you affect survivors with the add on so it technically helps you find survivors even if they are in lockers. It affects them too

One thing I have learned to help with a survivor spinning your power is predict the spin and pre lunging since they will either wait for you to run into them for the spin or they will run towards you to go for the spin so pre lunge usually results in hitting them right before they go for the spin especially with how wide his swing feels it basically becomes a 50/50. Just gotta predict left or right and adjust accordingly. Edit Just adding to answer question around 22mins. Yes. Auto aim feels awful right now. So many times they are just pressing W and I go for a swing and they turn slightly, like not even a sharp turn and auto aim will straight up spin me in a 360 and not hit. Edit 2 If you have DPI settings on your mouse I find going up to 9k-16k while using your power you can turn 180 degrees with a flick. Helps a lot.

I think a good replacement for BBQ could be the one peek that blocks pallets so of forces survivors to leave a loop where I think he is at his strongest

I feel like what hex: undying does with making other hex jump on another dull totem should have been a base mechanic for all hexes. Maybe a delay of 60 seconds could have been applied but this mechanic makes even bad hex perks have good value since survivors would have to start either cleansing dull ones more often or keep finding your hex one

When you change directions, the blight gets a speed boost in that direction which is his "lunge." If you miss this timing then your lunge will feel really slow and wouldn't have moved you very far.

I don’t have tinkerer so I do what I learned from or cards and use discordance overalls just the three perks on blight are insane I love this build and the green add on is great

At around 5:53, you mention that Compound Thirty-Three has the pallet and wall break effect. It actually shaves off an entire *1.1 seconds* from the break animation, since the base pallet and wall break speed is 2.6 seconds.

Hi there. Newly in initiated Blight main here. The best way to deal with survivors who try and feint you is to do the same thing. When you actually use your attack you gain a sudden boost to your sensitivity, so that’s the best time to correct your attack

the other iridescent addon with the yellow addon that takes away 1 rush is surprisingly effective

I play a lot of blight, and I think my personal favorite build with him is ruin, surveillance, thrilling tremors, and pop, with the alchemist ring and umbra salts. I would run tinkerer instead of surveillance but for some reason I haven't got it yet.

BBQ, Undying, and Ruin is the best combo now period. Its what I will run permanently basically. I hope people keep running pop so no one prepares for undying ruin. Lol. You could also run surveillance too (better than tinkerer) which might just be godly.

The lunge isn't too short but it for sure misses alot more often than other killers or is prone to hitting objects, happened pretty consistantly last night but it might be his height related as that feels a little bizzare and the only thing I can think of other than perhaps the killer's boxes being slightly smaller? I have no clue but I agree that the more time you spend with him, the stronger he gets, great new skill-based killer addition that I love more than I was expecting.

I'm with you Tofu on the gg thing, I say it as a virtual handshake after the match (unless they're already insulting me or something in chat.) And if someone ragequits I'll usually say something like "gg, too bad about the disconnect", just so they know I agree their teammate shafted them.

24:57 maybe the Kate has the Felix perk that makes healing/unhooking faster for every injured and hooked person that is why the unhook was so quick

I would replace BBQ with Hex: Blood Favor, like you said his power is useful for getting hits in between tiles, you can use your rush to get over to a gen with tinkerer, fatigue out of LOS, then come out with an ambush(statement has nothing to do with the pig), block the nearby pallets and force them to move tiles, giving a free second hit. This might be too many hex: perks or maybe someone could mistake it for Haunted Grounds & Undying🤔 Also I think another good add-on combination would be Iridescent Blight Tag and Alchemist’s Ring I wonder what the hindered status amount is from compound 33, and if the status stacks per slam, like waterlogged shoe will stack its hindered if the survivor is in the range of multiple traps

i think that green addon might work well with wisperer as well. like.. the perk goes on and you just dash around in the area and it will just show you the survivor :D might be a good choice if you guys dont have one of the other perks ^^

Tofu with the other ultra rare I suggest you use the addon that increases the token charge speed and gets rid of a token so you only have to bounce 4 times for the oneshot and the tokens come back faster so you can retry faster, win-win

His powers would have been way better if he had more turn rate ( from 5° per second to 10° / 15° per second ) , lesser speed ( from 230 to 200 ) , longer time period ( from 3 seconds to 4 seconds ) , and he didn't need to get the Rush and Slam to activate his powers but instead it would be kinda an animation where he would sorta inject himself with his syringe or something and he would have a a add-on that would provide him insta-downs but at the cost of a speed decrease while using his powers ( from 200 to 190 ) and a time period decrease ( from 4 seconds back to 3 seconds ) ! This way he would actually be worth using !

To answer the question, "is his lunge shorter". The blight's lunge is shorter probably to compensate for his ability. I also believe the blight is slower that normal killers (i don't know if hes slower), and the faster you go the longer your lunge is. This would make the blights normal lunge would be short.

maybe most successful so far but I definitely think tinkerer is swappable, BBQ, Undying, Ruin are the 3 main strongest perks and the 4th is for anything you're feeling imo

The sad thing is, with how short blight is, compound 21 feels like a necessity... like it gives you so much info and helps out so much with how blind you can feel. Especially on maps with long grass!

Thing is, for the last game, they probably could have turned it around if the one dude didn't DC before his second hook. They were cooking gens pretty fast. End game was going to be a pain since they dropped so many pallets early (think I counted around 11), but it wasn't impossible. Especially given corners are not a Blight's friend at all

I think green rarity is appropriate for Compound Twenty-One--eventually, once Survivors get used to the Blight, they'll understand that immersion isn't guaranteed, and that the fatigue isn't actually much of a grace period. Once that happens, it'll be more defined by the limitations of Blighted Corruption. They'll be less inclined to try and sneak around obstacles or pallets, and they'll know enough to keep things restricted to sharp turns and jungle gyms--to force you into a straightforward chase. But yeah, they've got to nix that point value alert. (I was wondering why my Deviousness maxed out so quickly...)

I’m glad somebody else is realising how strong Blight is in the right hands. This might be my own personal taste and from my own testing, but I’d replace bbq with Make Your Choice. My reasoning for this is, Blight can already get far away from the hook, then come back almost instantaneously. This is extremely strong and can be very op. Though, bbq is always good.

Brutal strength seems to top tier for him, getting back into the chase even faster than what you normally do is pretty crazy compared to an inconsistent build with hex perks

His lunge is definitely shorter or bugged. You can test that on survivors using dead hard, if you lunge just as they DH you always get them in the end of the lunge with every killer but not with Blight

That second game, the ultra rare probably saved your ass by shaving time off in breaking pallets a good few times, imo. Ormond is monstrous for back to back safe pallets

I actually think that bamboozle would be phenomenal for him for those pesky survivors that try to abuse jungle gyms, along with his new perk for pallet holding. Once you eliminate small, enclosed areas, its a guaranteed kill unless you REALLY mess up. Have been using his UR tag with the add on that reduces tokens by 1. Makes it easier to get to last token and secure an exposed hit :) . Great video though, i was thinking someone would come along and use these two add-ons in conjunction!! You could also try the tag with ring, and instantly start a slug fest to be ultra toxic :)
