Great work Richard. It's going to look fantastic once it's fully skinned. If you don't apply a clear coat at the end, the foil finish will age beautifully ( and naturally ) over time. On the other hand if you are happy with the finish you have got, after burnishing and sanding/polishing ?, a clear coat at the end will preserve that finish permanently. Which ever way you go, that thing will look magnificent when it's done. 🍻

Thanks Dean 👍😀it will all get sanded and polished once but I tend to avoid clear costs at all costs as it can make it look like paint which kind of defeats the object of doing this in the first place. It also removes the option to polish it in the future. I like the natural aged patina it develops over time 👍

Looks good mate, I'm doing one and it's been an absolute pig of a model... I could not get the front fuselage together, had to clamp it., loads of injector pins and sink holes... And didn't have a top engine fuselage cover..... I have the wings on and guns in etc, just think it's an awful model for the price and being new tooled.. So many daft things like glueing all the exhausts together - why? Sorry, I'm done moaning... Yours looking good

My channel was initially based on dealing with all and more of the problems your talking about. It’s a great kit but deffo has problems. If you built another one you would find it considerably easier.
