As someone from South Korea, this is quite realistic, as many pupils think they can get away with everything (because of a law that states children below 14 can't be charged or face consequences). This leads to a lot of terrible stuff. Even adults can't really fight back because they are scared of teenagers who feel 'overpowered.' I would also like to point out that many people endure sexual assault and keep quiet, not only to avoid disgrace but also because they are scared of possible consequences from attackers. I have also faced severe bullying throughout my school years, including sexual assault, mental torture, and horrible physical abuse. As a result, I ended up in the hospital a couple of times with head injuries, burns, and broken bones. What can I say is that it is still an ongoing problem in Korea that others have to take seriously. I'm sorry for everyone who has faced unfair treatment, bullying, and harassment of any kind. I think people should take bullying seriously all over the world because it can lead to terrible consequences. Good luck, everyone! Peace

I hate bullying. Once when i was in 9th grade i was constantly bullied by this politicians brother. When I told school authorities to do something they called the brother and the brother came to my school just so he can threaten me and beat me up. I told my father about this and he showed up to school the next day to talk to the principal. Same thing happened, principal called the politician and he showed up. He threatened my father. But this time something else happened. My father was friends with bigger politicians than the brother and they showed up. The brother lied as he didn’t know those bigger politicians were friends with my father. In the end the brother of the bully lost his position as a politician, the bully was expelled from the school and the principal was arrested from the school grounds in front of thousands of students.

Or you just ask your parents to change you to another school and that's it, you don't have to be the hero or the vigilante, it's ridiculous, If you have proof you can even go to the police, c'mon it's stupid think you can beat up a bullie, honestly that will aggravate the situation and they finally want to kill you out of spite, if people think that hitting someone generates fear, it is not like that, it generates resentment and bullies will only want to continue hurting you but twice as much. Well, at least that's how I would act in that case, I don't think a beating is enough to make someone stop bullie you and even less so if it's a group of people. Not even self-defense would stop something like that, it will only increase the resentment and hatred they have against you to the point of thinking about killing you. No one wants a weak guy to beat them up, it would be embarrassing, so they're just going to think about hurting you more so that you regret that beating, at least that's how I think they think.
@nopeyourenotgood7530Ай бұрын
@@palta6186 1. No average bully is that much of a sore loser to kill the victim who beat them in a fight. 2. The ones who would do that are usually easily caught by police because they are an obvious suspect. 3. @palta6186Ай бұрын
@@nopeyourenotgood7530 And even then the bullies will continue to bother the victim, a beating in the face doesn't stop them from continuing to bother the person, it will only make things worse, people are spiteful by nature, bullies won't hesitate to make your life more impossible, an example, in my country, the news was talking about an idiot who was kicking on the floor a classmate who had a disability and couldn't walk, that kid is lucky that they had videotaped everything or else the guy would continue to bully him, now, do you think that kid would have been able to defend himself? and if he had, do you think a beating would have stopped the bully?, A victim really doesn't know what the person who is bullying is like, some are capable of killing, mostly in the United States, others will only feel grudge against the person and will continue to bother the victim but worse, and then there would be those who stop, but honestly, a bully usually feels superior to the rest, or at least to the victim, and if the victim hits the bully, this feeling of superiority would be threatened, what does an aggressive person do when they feel threatened?. Defending yourself is fine, but you have to know who you are messing with to begin with, if you want to hit the bully, honestly it will not be enough because you are definitely not going to win if you don't have fighting skills, and talking about martial arts, if this bully has friends, martial arts will really not help you, it is like an invitation to be hit harder. Now here we are talking about strong bullying, a normal problem could be solved by talking directly to the person if they only bother you with their words, or you tell your parents about the matter, and if you have parents who care about you, they will do something, and if not, well, you will have to act like a responsible adult. If there are hits or touches in bullying, the victim usually stays silent for that very reason, thinking that no one will help, or that things can get worse (and can usually happen). I don't know what parents are like in the U.S. or Korea because I don't live there, but you either tell a teacher or your parents, and if you want to defend yourself, it's better to gather evidence instead of going to a fight just to get hit, at least if you really want the authorities, teachers to help you, you will have evidence, you cannot say that some people bully you without proof, as the authorities are now, obviously they will not believe you even if they should believe you, the best thing is always to have something with which you can confirm your situation. At least that's what I think, I really wouldn't be able to say this with total certainty assuming again that I don't live in other countries to know what bullying is like there.

If you dare fight back, they call in their fraternities, gangs, friends and connections to "teach you a lesson". White people and westerners have this weird image of Asians being meek and gentle. @retchie73553 ай бұрын
I've been bullied so much throughout my life but i also have gained a lot by it. I thankfully had a very supportive family that taught me that revenge doesn't have a start or an end, revenge is always a circle. Im very Self-consciousness about what i can take as a person and if i cant take the beating i walk away. Many people, MENY people keep telling me "its not healthy" to just take it, but as i said i am very Self-consciousness about what i can and cannot take, and if i can take a lot i feel like i should. I dare not think of the web of vengeance i will spin if i dont and what I'm most afraid of is the pain i cant even imagine going forward if i didn't. Revenge gives you a dopamine rush.. something we in nature needed to guide us as revenge used to be something we could use to further our species when getting rid of foes or rivals, so in primitive times it were a boon. But in todays society where our cognitive evolution is much faster than our biologic evolution, we should strive to look ahead and see what's more effective rather than emotionally gratifying.
