A square yellow sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants lives in a pineapple with his pet snail, Gary, in the city of Bikini Bottom on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. He works as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab. During his time off, SpongeBob has a knack for attracting trouble with his starfish best friend, Patrick. Arrogant octopus Squidward Tentacles, SpongeBob's neighbor, dislikes SpongeBob because of his childlike behavior.

@@dessindenfer1253 In a TikTok video frrom as late as 2020, Dan Povenmire revealed that in the original version of the "Camp Fire Song Song" he wrote, Patrick would say, "Letters, letters, letters..." instead of trying and failing to keep up with SpongeBob spelling "Campfire Song" really fast. This change in the final episode was suggested by Dan Povenmire's writing partner at the time, Jay Lender, and Dan admits that he thought it was funnier that way.

The gorilla and horse in “I Had an Accident” is one of the most random, yet funniest things from SpongeBob I’ve seen. I always laugh when Sandy and Patrick get pummeled by the gorilla and when the gorilla gets called out for being under water, haha!

@craigharvey-gurr337 Some ads depicted a "grand event" in the theme of Willy Wonka and his candy factory. The event took place in Glasgow, Scotland. The tickets to the event were at least $50 per person. It turned out that it was not the "grand event" that it was supposed to be. The ads were generated by AI. The warehouse that was supposed to be the factory was barely decorated. The actors were given cheap costumes. There were no chocolate treats given out at all, just jellybeans and lemonade. The kids were given 3 jelly beans and a small cup of lemonade after the event was over. Parents were understandably furious, and they're getting their refunds. The actors did not get paid, so they're angry as well. It was such a huge scandal to the point where it made headlines around the world and went viral on social media.

It really irks me that Mid-Life Crustacean was banned. You're telling me Paramount banned it all because of that "one scene", but Sailor Mouth, an entire episode about cussing is ok?

Yeah, I did just realize that these reactors skipped over the "Mid-Life Crustacean" episode along with "The Great Snail Race" which is paired with it, making their reaction to season 3 incomplete currently. They address this at 0:10. Because of its banned status, they really have scrubbed "Mid-Life Crustacean" from most legal releases, including TV reruns in the United States and Canada. "Mid-Life Crustacean" is still available on DVD releases, but I'm not sure if these reactors feel like going back to compressed DVD quality. The DVD quality is not as cleaned up or remastered as modern day streaming releases, but it's still watchable though and contains one episode that's banned from streaming altogether.

Idc, I love Mr. Krabs. He felt horrible and had a moment's weakness. The guy has PTSD, give him a break. But idk why they say Mr. Krabs was out of character in later seasons (for example, firing SpongeBob over a nickel) when he literally did this.

4:00 Fun fact: In the german dub of Spongebob, they changed this joke to where Mr. Krabs says "I'm Benjamin. Benjamin Blumchen." Benjamin Blumchen (literal translation: "Benjamin Blossom" but officially called "Benjamin the Elephant" in english) is a german children's cartoon- and audio book character created in the late 20th century who happens to share the same voice actor as Mr. Krabs in the german dub (at least until his death 5 months ago).

When I was a kid, I play the Sea Bear part as I imagine this creature is real. That is until my tragic event at a national forest where a park ranger scolded at me for making noises that night, forcing me to feel frightened to play outdoors, and it's not because of the warnings. It's so ironic that this episode made me feel safe from wild animals, but I didn't feel safe from humans.
