I'm learning new types of crafts at the minute, felting being the newest, and I've always thought about maybe selling but it always seems daunting but this video is really informative and helpful

Thank you so much for putting this series of videos together. Very informative and thorough. I've now changed my mind about Etsy and I think I'll give it a go. I started doing craft fairs just prior to the lock downs so that's been put on hold for now but I am looking forward to the day when I can start attending again. Etsy is a difficult one but really it's the footfall of people that could see your shop that you just can't beat. If your product is good, well photographed and the right price and you have some feedback and purchases, things will sell but it does take time. Thank you so much for the information. I want to start a small business and start hitting the crafting circuit next fall, and your helpful information has made me realize I know more than I thought I did, and it also scares the heck out of me. I want to be able to enjoy the fairs, but I am afraid I will take it all too seriously and miss the fun and lose interest. But, I am going to check out Etsy. I had always thought they would be too pricey and too demanding but your discussion about Etsy has changed my mind. Thank you for your time and knowledge shared.

Thank you! I still really love Etsy, it's cheap to start and takes time to get going. You need good photos and descriptions but once your shop is set up, it's easy to maintain. Craft fairs can be hit and miss but definitely worth doing just don't book too many as then it loses the fun as you spend all your time felting, best of luck x

Wow that was one of the most useful and clear videos I’ve watch. It’s my first stall at a fair . Didn’t get a reply from the school it’s held at till 3 week before. So I’ve been up working late for weeks. My back is killing me. But at least I’ll be more prepared next time😂. Thanks again. Oh and don’t worry about length of video. I watched it while cooking dinner for family in between it all (they gotta eat I suppose 🤣) I like a long video I can work to as well ✌️🙌🤩👍🌻🙏✨

What do you do about toy safety liability. Even if not a toy, these are given to children. How do you protect yourself and meet all the gov guidelines? Thx

I have liability insurance and advertise that these are not for children, have signs up at craft fairs, tell people and it's on my care leaflets too x

Yes, I do apologise, my editing wasn't good in the beginning and I can't simply remove it on my old videos. I'm much better now and don't talk with music at the same time, thanks for watching though xx
