That's how you know the writers made a good universe. If you can establish a strong and immersive world, then you have more freedom with your characters. It's really easy to mess up, but the writers did a great job.

I was so in to Vanessa and Monty. Would've loved to see more of their relationship. Ferb should've been with someone his own age. Maybe they could've introduced a new female character in one of the late seasons.

They’re like maybe 4 years apart at most, which isn’t a big deal after they’re both adults

considering both ferb and Phineas are old enough to go to college in that episode, vanessa being a few years older than ferb isnt that bad or unbelievable considering most relationships in real life are between people with a slight age gap

However, I would still have loved to dig in to her relationship with Monty. I love this forbidden love trope AND it would've been so funny to see Heinz's and Francis' reactions when they found out. That would've been a golden opportunity to make some hilarious episodes.

@@jacquelynbridges When I think about it, it makes sense. Linda and Heinz dated in the past, but I can't remember what made them stop. Also, Phineas has a similar head shape to Heinz. He can build on the same level as Heinz, maybe it's an inherited trait. The only strange thing is that Heinz met Phineas sometimes and did not recognize him as his son (and vice versa). Maybe Linda kept her pregnancy as a secret. And Phineas never met his real father. And he's not particularly interested in finding out. What's strange, because it would be good material for an episode.

It also occurs to me that it would funny if it turned out that Cavendish is one of Phineas and Isabella’s. New head canon accepted. Also they didn’t mention that Dan has alluded to the possibility Milo’s family might be related to Jeremy’s family.
