Haw Par Villa, well, it used to be my childhood playground during the early 70’s as my great grandparents used to lived in a kampung just next to haw par villa

I listen to this series as I work on other things so I’m not always watching, and Adrian Pang definitely is a good host. Good voice, good command of the language. Until I watched & his expressions are just... I could easily listen to him on radio, to conclude.

My first time going there for my trekking n did saw a small bulding or protected site which looks like e one u have on the pic from ur ipad.

Construction works for OBS will begin, not sure when though due to Covid. But when I went to site survey previous last year, starting from the road where the PUB dam is, soil investigation contractor workers told me of some paranormal activities. Especially at the shore at the northen end where the new OBS jetty will be built. Vertical boring equipments failing, heavy machineries always shutting down.

I just watched another Haw Par Villa documentary, n yes i agree....not much is documented....😢 N in tat documentary, i just learned tat 10 courts of hell is different from 18 levels of hell... Like the words itself, it's self explanatory....10 courts of hell is where u r being judge for your misdeeds....n the 18 levels of hell is where u get ur punishments...wud love to see the management try to get fundings from the government to refurbish n put back the rides n have the visitors to pay for the rides or they can choose to walk(FOC) thru the 18 levels of hell. Night operation is more interesting n much cooler, as you can further promote Chinese culture with Wayang, n rent traditional Chinese cultural costumes to visitors etc.... From there, you can even build a traditional tea house on top of the hill, with partially open air seatings...n visitors can choose to sit in air con area or open air to enjoy the evening sunset scenery while having their beverage n snack breaks.... Tis will also bring about crowds to opposite hawker center where visitors can have their dinner there....
