Some people are taking issue with the fact that you have to sign in to view age restricted content; saying that it would be a form of tracking. For one, google already knows who you are, even if you aren't signed in, and even if you are using a VPN. There are many unique factors that identify you such as your monitor size, operating system, browser type and version, drivers being used, and hardware. Unless you know how to hide all that info, you are not browsing anonymously. Incognito mode does not actually maintain your privacy from google. It just keeps people who access your computer from knowing your activity. Second, that issue can be solved with the same method if you want the illusion of anonymity. You just make it so age verification can be done temporarily and is removed upon cookies being deleted or the browser being closed. If you think that is inconvenient, I personally do not care. It's inconvenient to have to show my ID every time I buy alcohol, yet I still do it. If you really take issue with it then what you could do is just buy 20 cards, open a word document, type all the codes in during 1 session, and then just copy and paste them in when needed.

I highly recommend the book “Data and Goliath” by Bruce Schneier In one portion, he basically explains that having a phone in your pocket connected to the internet is the equivalent of having 100s of data analysts and investigators taking notes on every thing you do. Regardless of whether or not you’re signed into anything. VPNs can do quite a lot to prevent third parties spying on you, but your ISP is still most of the time able to track you.

I'm saving this for when people like Matt Walsh or Michael Knowles (both from the Daily Wire) think that "entering in an ID" is the only way to verify age. Not only is that just asking for trouble in the form of fraud, but a kid could just as easily take their parent's ID & send it in. I get that they want what's best for people, being truly good Catholics, but authoritarian bullshit is still bullshit, whether on the Left or the Right, & Prohibition for consenting adults never works. Thank you for this idea. Frankly, while I'm in agreement that "🦐" (get it? "Prawn?") is detrimental to the human psyche, I also believe that consenting adults have the right to "destroy themselves" as long as they don't directly hurt others, especially involving minors, and accept the consequences.

@ucyberwolf 4 ай бұрын
Slight correction: Generally speaking, none of those unique factors identify you individually. Instead, they are combined to form a unique identifier in a process known as fingerprinting. This means you don't have to hide everything, as a couple of key changes can impact the identifier depending on how it was generated. While I'm here, though, the websites could use an identity broker for the sake of privacy that does the age verification and is a part of the user onboarding process.

And guess what will happen with the sites with age verification? People will simply go to the websites without it. Just look at OF for an example. Yes, much of the content is behind a paywall and/or email verification, but piracy is rampant. You can not “care” about the inconvenience of age verification all you want, but inconvenience in the mainstream market is what causes underground markets to flourish.

You mean when they were allowed to be youngins and not brainwashed pawns in a demented social experiment to normalize fetishism and every form of debauchery under the sun. I can't stand this because I stand by an individual's choice to do whatever they want with their life as long as it's not directly hurting anyone else. This though, is completely insane because youngins shouldn't know anything about this stuff, especially at the age of four or five.

These people quite literally advocate for the most brutal disgusting and savage ways to murder their own offspring as they please. They are the kinds of people to actively advocate for the destruction of entire cultures and whole swathes of ethnic groups in the name of their ideology. They happily push vulnerable people and children into mutilating their own bodies and traumatising and messing them up for life. They see no problem with the genital mutilation of newborn baby boys, and saying anything against it would somehow be worse. I am anything but surprised.

I believe that the 6 year old truly has those beliefs. My own child once came up to me at 3 years old and said to me: " My fellow freedom fighter, today we stand united against the encroaching grip of an overreaching government! It's time to reclaim our liberties from the clutches of bureaucracy. We won't tolerate the erosion of our individual rights any longer. Let our voices echo through the streets, demanding an end to excessive regulation and a return to the principles that made our nation great. Stand with me in this fight for true freedom and limited government. The time for complacency is over; let the roar of liberty resonate in every corner of our great land!" I felt the heavy weight of those words. (I have no child and might have schizophrenia)

Parents that force their failed dreams onto their children are among the worst. If your child loves dancing, there are things that should come to mind, that you might introduce your child to, like waltz, hip hop, break dance or even ballet or Capoeira. Drag dancing is NOT what should come to mind. 12:58 - the word "powerful" has become a red flag to me. People who use it, are usually bitter and stupid. A 700 horsepower engine is powerful, doing what your parents force you to do isn't.

It's clearly gone FAR past "letting kids do whatever they want"; a BABY or TODDLER doesn't come preprogrammed with their own desires to do drag. That claim is absolutely ridiculous. This is just parents nudging their children into a particular direction, saying it's "them being themselves," and getting praise for molding their kid into an attention farm. Gross. And that doesn't even address how incredibly detrimental and DANGEROUS it is for them to be in that world to begin with.

When you have access to anonymous strangers, you have more access to group chats where that type of stuff is passed around, and then curiosity gets the best of you and you start searching for more. I hate my addiction but my current fiancé has helped me through it for years. If there was a redeemable card, I wouldn’t worry as much about relapsing. I hope this gets implemented in the future. I have no doubt this kid will need therapy years down the line to unpack the lifestyles the parents coerced him into. There is no way they named this boy Asa and he just happened to stumble into drag. His parents lead him to it, and heavily encouraged it, and planned for him to get involved. Them saying he found it on his own is far less likely than him simply trying to win their approval. The kid is SIX years old. He has absolutely zero idea what is going on. Despicable.

Pedophilia, when you sexualize a child at such an age it is classified as pedophilia. When people in Catholicism did this the media referred to it as pedophilia. When I worked for the Illinois Department of children and family services in child protection this was classified as abuse and/or neglect and it would also get you listed on the child perpetrator/sex offender registry for the rest of your life. These parents should be incarcerated and vice should be sued into nonexistence, this poor child is going to live a miserable life when he becomes an adult. May God have mercy on our souls ☦️

@@AliKocaIsHotbut conservatives do define woke all the time. A left wing liberal ideology that sees everything in a dualism lens in which there are a power dynamic of oppressor~oppressed in all relationships in society, such as: human~animals (veganism) man~woman (feminism), white~non-white (racial movements), straight~queer (LGB), cis~trans (T), capitalism~proletariat. For this reason, subversion of what they consider the status quo is necessary. I was actually a Leftist in the past, and this explanation I received from a Right-wing dude was the best one to describe it. Being socialist per se doesn't means you're woke though, because classical socialists also deny these additional dualities, and only believe in the Bourgeoisie (or Capitalist system) Vs the Proletariat. To be "woke" , you need to be able to "wake up" to the dualist power dynamics as whole, differently from people who may fight against one or two of these dynamics (anti-racism, ecological movements, or sexism), the woke fight against structures, being these structures real or not.

Never see a drag queen with 'natural makeup' look, or bland dresses... or trying to avoid being the center of attention. I didn't realize your child dancing meant they were Trans/Drag. 😐 There is a reason why we wait until children are better developed before they are allowed to make choices independent of their parents and why even parents have limitations on what they can do to their children and that is because children can absolutely be mistaken about how they feel or about who they are especially when their body is being flooded with all kinds of conflicting hormones. The fact this has to be explained is insanity.

"We aren't FORCING our kids to do this." Yeah and that pedophile on the internet isn't forcing your child to have sex with them either. Does that suddenly make it okay? The problem is that kids are being INDUCED to do these things and due to being children they have no grasp on what they are doing, its implications and outcomes and potential damage to themselves. The idea of "let kids do whatever they want" is so absurd to me. Let them learn sure but as a parent you have to intervene beyond a certain point.

This is all part of legally removing age of consent and other limitations that should be culturally forbidden and legally supported. The things that should go without saying have to be said for the laws purpose. If they can speak to kids about consent and then kids "say yes" to whatever an adult asks of them, all they have to do is say "well they consented" so that all boundaries are levelled between ages

@@lautaroka5847 that is a moronic take. It doesn't have anything to do with IQ. It isn't reasonable to expect a fifteen year old to deal with a potential child, even if *they're really smart* . Even full on adults have great difficulty in it. Overreliance on birth control isn't a suitable solution either. Age of consent should be determined by the approximate age in which a person can support themselves and another (assuming reasonable conditions and not extremes. I don't really give a fuck if the housing market is jacked right now, that is just a market trend.)

As a Certified Youth Sports coach, what these parents do disturbs me. Specifically, I’m a Youth Cheerleading coach, and I would 100% recommend any young child who has an interest in dance and performance to get into cheerleading. We choreograph dances and cheers that are age appropriate, do team building activities like stunting, and personal skills development like tumbling. If I noticed my son liked dancing to kids bop, I would get my son into a dance class, maybe even cheerleading if he found it interesting, but the last thing I’d ever think is “Oooo, let’s take him to a pride parade and then put him in drag.” In a sane society, this poor child would be taken from these abusive parents.
@mansendwish
@mansendwish 4 ай бұрын
I think you're the most reasonable, I automatically sympathise with the kid because I was the same at his age except my parents weren't accepting and forced me to act more normally (which didn't work obviously) but I think they're too accepting and were biased looking for signs that they have a 'special kid' probably to trophy them around like an achievement. The kid has interests in crossdressing and dancing, exactly as I did at that age. I'm glad that his parents are more accepting and loving than mine, but I fear as I said they might be a bit TOO accepting and loving, possibly even cashing in on the kids interests for money and clout. They should've done what you said and got him into dance classes and let him figure things out himself later on, that's a lot less creepy. Sorry for the wall of text btw.
