Welcome to our channel and another video. In this video, we proudly introduce our new range of customized CasiOaks.
This project is a collaboration between IFL Watches and the very talented 'The Dial Artist' from the UK.
All watches are customized by 'The Dial Artist' and feature meticulously hand-painted bezels, hour markers and dials.
We are introducing 4 different versions of the CasiOak:
- First off, our 200 piece limited edition of the GA-2100-1A1ER that we call "Galaxy". This watch feature an incredible "Galaxy" dial that is painted by hand and every dial is unique on its own way.
- Then we have the grey version GA-2110ET-8AER that we have given the Rainbow touch. This watch looks absolutely stunning on the wrist.
- Third of all, meet the Black Rainbow. This watch is the base model GA-2100-1AER with a slightly different Rainbow than the limited edition one, starting with the color red on top and has white hands.
- Last but not least, we introduce our custom "Pepsi" version of the GA-2110ET-2AER. An alternative for the ones that can't get a hold of the real Pepsi...

Very cool idea, that is until I went on the website and woah 700 dollars ouch. The watch 100 (even though it’s been opened, voiding warranty and not considered “new”) which leaves 600 for the painted indices

The cost is minimal so basically $600 for labour. Worth doing yourself and selling for half the cost

Was interested in the Rainbow Jellyfish. If only the price wasn't ridiculous on the non-limited edition ones, I would consider buying one. But when the original is ~$120 and the painted version is more than 5 times the price, it's definitely not worth it, no matter how pretty. Save your money fam.

I personally have a milky way g shock and it's a beautiful looking piece. I am selling it actually because I find that the large proportions of the watch and the rubber strap are very uncomfortable for my wrist. But it was a really cook watch

I remember when Chris Alexander (he has a name) started selling these over a year ago. For less than half this cost. Quite the sensation at the time, and really great still. My, how times have changed tho. More than a little bit of the fun has now been ... deleted.

Does the paint withstand rain and swimming as a regular Casio? Will the Paint wear off after some time?

Yes the colour is water resistant and it won’t wear off.

beautiful concept and design, a real shame that you are sold out already on a couple of versions. hopefully you may do another limited edition run of these at some point possibly, if you do, you may want to consider a few things : first replacing the plastic crystal with an anti-reflective AR glass or sapphire, secondly ...having the artist apply additional Lume on the handset for a better overall visibility in dark/low light, thirdly ...why not run a giveaway here for a couple of watches on YT to promote your website ? anyway, wonderful job guys, be well :)

You can get a mod for changing the indices for a couple of £s so other than the colour on the outside and face it would be pretty easy to do

If I bought the IFLW Rainbow 50-piece limited edition, I would be very disappointed when I saw this video because you have released a black version again. This 50-piece limited edition, that is so similar. I also ordered the Galaxy Rainbow limited edition today. I really do. I hope that you will not launch such a similar style after the limited edition is released. This will make our customers who bought the limited edition feel worthless.

OK, real question is: what kind of paint did they use and how did they apply it? DIY What paint should I buy to paint the inner and outer bezel?

Lot the watch but damn it’s over priced. It’s a 100 watch with very nice makeup. They sell it for 700 dollars. I’d pay 300 for that watch at most. Father most simple one can be and most likely are mass painted. (All markers painted at once and sorted and then re fitted not as meticulously as you image. I’d do it myself but I don’t know what paint to use. Probably acrylics.

I can easily take the Indices ring out and paint it with the lacquer paint I use for gundam model kits and an airbrush and here they charging 550 bucks extra for something so simple

@@YouKnowThatsRightSS yup, very simple. Legit about 20-30 min of work with an airbrush. I’ve been trying to see if there’s a 3d file of the dial index or an aftermarket one to have multiple ones to paint

@@Alexander_MD I literally just made one yesterday and it's stupid easy. masking tape to coper the G-shock + protection portion and put paint right over it. Opening it and removing the index ring is easy af too. The only thing is I'm probably going to order a dial from aliexpress, and try to paint that.

I love the look, but hate that y'all are charging an extra 500 for what's essentially just a bit of paint. $650 when the watch itself costs only $100? Let's get real here.

Agreed. Should be max $300-350 USD. What ridiculous prices. I just bought the original of the clear Casiok for $110 USD. Would definitely never pay $700 USD for a paintjob on a $110 watch.

At those prices, I'll just buy the watch and do the painting my self. Just need to invest in the proper equipment or, worst case scenario, have keen eyesight and a very steady hand. 🤔

They have the exact same pieces with rainbow indices and lettering At timelesspieces for $150. IFL sells for €550 which is about $600. I question the legitimacy of their claims that these are hand painted and limited to 200. Something is off

Those don't look hand painted to me.. Even if they are the price still is not worth it. They've been selling these way before Nico promoted them so there's no way they are limited to 200. If you go to the site you can still order them. If they were so called "limited" to only 200 wouldn't they all be sold out by now? You can buy these same exact watches for $100 and paint them your damn self.
