@@IdealMediaChannel I have a few cars in mind. I think more specifically the 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan I think. It does have an automatic boooooooo but I think I can change the transmission into a manual, however it'll cost to do it myself or have a professional doing it for me.

They weren’t Si’s. I had the same car when the movie came out. A black 1995 civic coupe EX with a manual. The EX was the highest trim level on the coupes until 1999.

I have a friend who did some stunt driving in the Fast n Furious movies and had his car in the desert scene (it was in line waiting). He told me that his '90 CRX would beat almost all the cars. (it was a right hand drive from japan with a Mugen built motor pushing out over 400HP. It even had a 1 piece hood that included the fenders made from Carbon Fiber so the CRX was super light.

A lot of misinformation in this video. The $2 million budget would have barely scratched the surface if the production had to buy and modify all of the cars in the movies. Virtually all of the cars in the movie were rented from their owners, not just Letty's 240sx. The stunt cars were purchased and painted to resemble the hero cars,because of the risk of damaging or destroying them. Brian's Eclipse was not blown, it was n/a. Wincing at the idea of Dom's charger being automatic is laughable. It is a great deal easier and much easier to hook using an automatic transmission in a purpose-built drag car. Craig Lieberman has a KZfaq channel where he details all of this in his videos. He worked on the movies, helped Universal Studios pick and acquire the cars. He is the original owner(as in they were his before the movies were made) of Brian's Supra and R34GTR.

Yo...I worked on the Original Fast & Furious movie.....Met the owners of the Jetta (who just had a new $30K stereo system put in),Rx-7 (awesome car to drive) and the Supra (nice guy, cool car to drive) and I did work and drive most of the cars and a couple bikes...bikes were to small for me. Owner of the Maxima was pissed when he found out about the dent they put in the car....and the Star R/T was rented out for the one garage shot for $8K.
