YEE YEE!!! A little while back, I made a video called "The Country Boys of TikTok", and it was a lot of fun to make, and I was just truly fascinated by country folk. So, obviously, I had to make a "Country Girls of Tik Tok" video...it's only fair. So, put your boots on, and get ready for a bunch of yee-yees and yee-haws.

I’m from a place that identifies as southern and it hurts me to my soul that he says “If you’re from the south you probably don’t understand about not identifying as a boy or girl” It hurts for two reasons: 1: He is… right. So very very unfortunately right. 2: There are a lot of trans people hiding in the south, who can’t be themselves because of how backwards things still are here. :( But there are a lot of us more open minded people here too, who are trying so so hard to make a difference here, and at times, it feels so hopeless. It feels like a loosing battle most of the time, to be honest, but I also love my home and my farm, and my family and I like living in the woods and around all this beautiful nature and mountains, and having a back porch to sit on and be in all this country. But the hatred that is still so prevalent here, hurts my soul. I wish more country folks would try to be more like Dolly Parton. She is good example of who some of us would like to be like. :) So please know that not all of us spread that awful hate. Some of us want to make our neck of the woods a more loving and open space for everyone, our trans brothers and sisters and every non-binary person in between. We want to make it a place where all races are welcome too. We just need a little extra help down here sometimes, because not everyone is on board with us yet, but I really hope that will change soon.

as someone who is currently living (i grew up here as well) on a ranch, i feel like these girls are trying really hard to make “farming” an aesthetic. it’s a lifestyle. it’s how people make money. it’s how we live. if your gonna be a rancher or farmer, take the time to actually live like one. they aren’t “country girls” they’re posers.
