You got some looks in Crestview because only about 10% have ever heard of the Florida Trail, and the fact that it goes right through town. They are working on that, though, and a couple of places in the historic downtown area give freebies to thru hikers. The owner of the Hub also owns the best BBQ place around (located in downtown Crestview.)

"Punish myself." 😂 Seriously. Portions of the Florida Trail are sickening. Fastfood, cement, asphalt, parking lots, billboards, trucks, cars, traffic, roadways, pollution, etc. Pitiful. You Rock. I still go to your AT vids because you and the crew are so awesome on it, and the way you filmed it is unforgettable and the trail is a real trail. Even when it came touch with towns the towns were so cool. 🕊️🌞

It’s embarrassing to admit but I claim Crestview as my hometown. Lived there growing up and never knew the FT ran through it. When I went back for a visit last year I tried to find the trail but couldn’t find map info. So weird seeing this on you channel 😂😂

Oh man I didn't know it went thru Crestview... There's a really good lunch buffet at Desi's. Best banana pudding I've ever had. 🤤 Edit: I've been to Holt a few times. Ain't nobody ever described it as "bustling" 😂😂😂😂

Gross *Presidential display on that establishment's wall. I'll bet that the owner thinks that athletes should just shut up and play sports; and musicians should just shut up and play music. But "Eat in muh cafe, so I can serve you up a dish of indoctrination."

You should probably meet the man before you trash him. I bet he has more respect in this community than you do in your own. He's an entrepreneur who gives back to everyone in the community. In fact he was voted citizen of the year recently. The wall is meant to be taken as tongue-in-cheek, yours seems to be more of the head-in-ass variety.
