Because this was with the 4Kids cast, you could say the storybook series are the closest we would get to OVA episodes for Sonic X and this animation proves it.

Black Knight was one of the earliest Sonic games for me. So, it was cool see this get animated. I know people don't consider the storybook games but I like to think that it is or at least Black Knight would be after Unleashed considering the picnic

Ive honestly always loved the dynamic sonic and amy have had, sonic dosent appreciate amy's affection but always tries to make her happy

He does actually like her, but her overly passionate tendencies are too strong for him to match her response. Plus, status quo maintenance.

This looks amazing! This one scene really was the end of an era. I really miss Jason Griffith, Liza Ortiz and the rest of the 4kids cast still today. Sonic and Co hasn't been the same since. Really great work with this animation. Its so Fluid and expressive ~

Jason Griffith was my favorite Sonic VA, but the voice of Roger grew on me 😂

The animation is amazing! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into each frame! 🤩 I don’t blame Amy for being mad. She finally got Sonic to agree to a date, and he doesn’t show up. They’ve been through some crazy adventures, but even a magic book world sounds farfetched. 😅
