sounds like Endryd Haara the "Riven Hound" a World eater Black shield who is implied to be a Thunder warrior that somehow had a geneseed implanted into him Fabius Bile thinks he was from an earlier time when the implantation was less streamline so results varied. he also hates his Primarch which is another link.

Maybe he is the step between that of a Thunder Warrior and Astartes....An experimental version of Astartes good enough to keep around.

I find that many of the Terran born Asartes, whether serving within the ranks of the traitor or loyalist Legions, were distrusted by their Primarchs. While the traitor Primarch suspected that theirs were more loyal to the Emperor than to them, the Lion and Corax also had issues with their Terran born sons. Some of these issues seemed more cultural, but there is always some differences between Astartes born on the Primarch home worlds, and the Terran born ones that I am unable to discern.

The iron hands really don't get enough love, for a chapter that isn't capable of love

Yeah, Autek Mor being one of the Thunder Warriors makes the most sense. All I could picture when his disregard for civilian casualties was that bit from The Last Church where Uriah recounts how some ordinary people tried to stand against the Emperor, only to be massacred by the Thunder Warriors.

It could it also be like Haar that Mor was originally meant to be a Thunder Warrior. But was moved to the Space Marine Project, after Thunder Warrior project stop making more Warriors. Like Haar, Mor could have still begun the process but was so early in it that moving him was not an issue. So now the issue becomes, did Mor 'Dream of Thunder?'

This video brings up something that has always been very interesting to me regarding "hard core" Second Founding astartes chapters, specifically the Red Talons (Brazen Claws?) and the Black Templars (although one could mention other 2nd founding examples from the Raven Guard and the Blood Angels): HOW does the gene seed of their CHAPTER FOUNDER (in the case of the RTs Autek Mor, in the case of the BTs Sigismund) obviously have more of a profound effect on the character of the chapter than the gene seed of the Primarch of their chapter? Further, how do these 2nd founding chapter-specific characteristics continue in the chapter in Primaris reinforcements, when that gene seed is directly from the chapter's Primarch, not the founder of the chapter?

You know that there something wrong with you when the Iron Hands, you know the most cold hearted Legion, that you are a bit ruthless. Though considering that the Emperor created by practice the Space Marines, and sometimes they come out flawed, but the Space Marines were known to also hate their Primarch such was the case with Lorgar. Though perhaps we may never know what he is, and that the beauty of the Horus Heresy era, there are several questions that may have answers, but we may never know them.

Are these "bio-vats" similar in function to the pods that the Blood Angels use? That's always been a piece of tech that intrigues me, seeing as how they seem to accelerate the development of Astartes as well as perform healing functions. Would love to see a vid about them sometime.

A Thunder Warrior is physically stronger than an Astartes. If somehow the Imperium came across a TW and he was mortally wounded, would he have a greater chance of crossing the Rubicon? The Primaris Process can even save a Marine when entombment in a dreadnought wouldn't be enough.

I'm convinced that Autek Mor is actually from the 4th legion/Iron Warriors and if you ask me for proof well I have none other than he just seems like he would fit in perfectly with the Iron Warriors rather than the Iron Hands to be honest.

honestly not every space marine from the Great Crusade of notable name and status has to be anything special in terms of origin. I don't think he's a thunder warrior, because that's stupid and The Outcast Dead is a terrible book. I doubt he's a marine from a different legion who just somehow ended up an Iron Hand due to some mixup, and I'm sick of hearing about the two lost Legions because nothing involving them is going to ever amount to anything of substance. I doubt his gene seed was in any way unique, and the rumors about him being uniquely genetically defective might just be the Iron Hands generally trying to distance themselves from the more unsavory aspects of Autek Mor. I think the simplest answer is the most correct one, and he's just one of the very early model marines and due to a mix of his own psychological makeup and somewhat unstable gene seed he ended up a somewhat psychopathic and damaged warrior and the mutual disdain felt between him and his Primarch is understandable without any weird elements involving his genetic heritage, because while the Iron Hands were one of the more brutal loyalist legions, generally there was a desire to not come across as total bloodthirsty monsters during the Crusade because the Imperium still preferred that the native populations of the planets didn't totally hate and fear them. Just being terran rather than being from the Primarchs homeworld causes dissention sometimes too, like with how Mortarion treated the terran members of the Death Guard.

The one thing that I hate about this channel is: It has too little subscribers.

if he was originaly from another legion, shouldn't we consider the Raven Guard as well? since they were not precisely nice guys. I'm refering to certain lines on the Raven Guard early years, specifically from HH 3 Extermination: "The Xeric warriors proved well-suited to the Emperor's visionm though some observed their propensity for cruelty when ordered to attck as well as a disdainful attitude to those they considered weak." pg 131 "Whatever occurred on that tiny satellite, the xenos were annihilated and victory claimed, but only at the cost of the settlers' lives..." pg 131-132 "Many of the veterans of the scouring of Lysithea were recalled from service by the masters of the Emperor's gene-forges, never to return to their Legion." pg 132 Coincidentaly enough, the symbol of clan Morragul is a raptor's claw. and just as fun fact, surviving warriors from that campaing bore the symbol X on their armor.

I like the Thunder warrior idea, I personally think GW should have brought them back instead of the Primaris. An upgraded, both biological and technological, tho expendable form of stop gap for Orks, Tyranids, other Xenos, and Chaos while the Imperium reorganized.

Did anyone else find it annoying once again they change the lore to get woke and say the Primarchs had a mother....I swear to God if they make female Astartes I will have to try and get Tactical to head smash his glass desk.
