My thoughts: To balance PvP, disable Shd Lvl and Expertise. The only lvl should be your dz lvl 50.

💯 percent agree. The expertise system has ruined the game. It has incentivised cheating and discouraged new players from joining. Cheaters and abusive players NEVER get banned in the DZ while new players trying to get expertise up get punished.

Patrick please send this into the Devs they need 2c this and get the cheats kicked from the game ASAP!!!

I say this every time PvP in loot/grind based games comes up: They are not good PvP games. For a good PvP game you need even odds from start to finish, with the only way to improve through knowledge. (How to act and react infight, how to prepare for a fight, how and when to pick a fight and last but not least: know the environment). Furthermore, a healthy PvP game needs constant administration, some one who's job is to do nothing but kick/ban cheaters, exploiters and griefers. (Or a actually working anti-cheat tool. But I don't know if there is actually any that really works as a lot of anti-cheat developers sell hacks anyways) As soon as one of the criteria isn't met, game X may have a PvP mode, but it will never be a PvP game. The Division is not a PvP game and the devs should have never implemented it in the first place.

Here are my thoughts as a returning player. I played around 150 hours on game launch and NY dlc release. Now that I have come back my main issues are that gear is easier to obtain and optimize then it ever was which I like. The expertise system puts me at a huge disadvantage as a returning player, because it was not a thing when I played. 20%+ difference on damage on a gun alone is worth a whole other red core let alone the expertise on the armor pieces they are wearing. Apparently it is now considered bad manners to run skill builds in the DZ (which I don't understand why using a skill with a 20 second cool down is considered BM when you die in half a mag in return). The PvP meta seems super stale to me, as the main competitive builds are running super high RPM and high time to kill builds with some sort of second life on your gear to back it up like catharsis or unbreakable. To me that is more unfavorable then a squishy person with a 20 second cool down on a skill. In my short 150+ hours I have put back into the game sense my return I have not noticed a cheater in the DZ but I have noticed how toxic people can be in the DZ regardless if they win a fight or lose it. My two friends and I have literally been called hackers and supposedly been reported because apparently "low shade watch players shouldn't be able to kill a player with high shade watch levels" said the guy who was shade watch level 14k+. I have managed to grind out around 300 shade watch levels and 3 ranks of expertise but I feel I am still at a huge disadvantage in PvP, grant it I am running a Kingbreaker build that isn't fully optimized so maybe the issue is I'm not running a famous build. Now my other main issue with the game is the amount of crashing that occurs in game now, it feels worse then I remember at launch or when I played the NY dlc. And another thing that bothers me is the amount of broken lobby's you get in count down which seems to be the best place to farm. I'm pretty sure for every lobby I get that's playable I have had 3-5 that weren't. Which is why I'm taking a break till the new content update comes out to see if it shakes up the meta at all or fixes stability issues, if not this game is dead to me again.

The expertise system should be REMOVED in PVP. Enough said. In terms of PVP in general, MORE needs to be done with hackers!! Camomo on Rust, for example, he's got the ability/authority to ban people, we need to put 1 player in charge of 20/30 servers, to get rid of anyone that's abusing the game and making it unplayable for others. I'd be glad to step up and do this, cause I've had enough. Big gaming companies/industries are doing so little to combat cheating these days, there needs to come a point where heavy consequences are put on those who cheat, to make gaming a safe and fun environment.

Please ban Cheaters that obviously rage Hacking on a daily basis that got reported Multiple times using in game Option or on Ubisoft Forum with Video evidence. Its a punch in the face, I take my time to record a Cheater and report him and never get info what happened to my Report 3. Remove SHD Watch and Expertise from ODZ or remove it entirely to attract many more players to PVP and go to the DZ 4. Fix crazy lags and desync, because that can also lead to falsely accusing players (on your side it looks lite Bullets are going through Walls and solid objects because of desnyc) 5.Give us a gearsets and brands exclusilve for PVP. Maybe something with Crit resitance or instant armor kit.

Game should never have had pvp at all in the first place. I did dark zone in Div 1 but haven't even bothered in Div 2.

This game has become the most aggravating experience out of all of the Tom Clancy titles currently available, I am personally 4500 SHD I hang out with people who are anywhere from my level to 8000 roughly everyone hates expertise, we all think it’s a gigantic waste of time and a huge distraction from the fact that they haven’t given us any new content that isn’t cookie-cutter-based in the last two years

Yes I totally agree with you so many cheaters and they just continue and seems like never get banned. DZ and PVP has lost it´s fun it is absolutly not fear with these cheaters running around and detroy the game play in general. Hope it will be a change ASAP :).

I echo some of the comments I’ve seen. It would be better to disable Expertise and SHD levels out of the DZ and Conflict.

Put a cap on the health for what it is at for shade level 1000. Have the ranked dark zones they previously had in division1 where if you are at expertise 22 that is where you will be placed. Whoever is at the highest expertise in your group, that is where you'll be placed. They could also break it up into 3 expertise tiers 0-7, 8-15, 16-22. This isn't going to stop them from shooting through walls but that just needs to be addressed through permanently banning those blatantly hacking and manipulating the code

Since day one there has been cheaters in pvp I have seen and experienced being shot through walls inkillable players invisible players damage glitchers I play pvp all the time. The main trouble is all the pvp players know who the cheaters are when they arrive every one leaves as there is no point fighting them I must have sent hours of footage to them and still playing no wonder the players are leaving my entire clan 40 players have all left such a shame for a game with such potential. I have started supporting farmers in the dz as they stand no chance

1:46 - I had more or less the same thing happening to me a couple of days ago. Northern Extraction, DZ East, I was sniped several times, from insane ranges, through buildings and structures. I'm absolutely positive he was way out of range and had no line of sight (after you're down you can see his location) - yet he one shotted everyone. He was there for a good hour. Which I thought was strange cause he had 9k expertise. I couldn't understand why someone who has that many hours into the game would cheat. I imagine cause there's no downside to doing it. Everyone reported him - it seemed to make no difference.

We... The non cheaters players.... Should have an option to block those players that we cannot play in any mode... It's way that community can actually take action against this cheaters ..

My tips by now for everyone: go DZ with a team of 4 friends, like a legendary mission, or run anti-pulse builds (Yaahl/System Corruption) and farm midnights, killing fast enough in control points and under low-key. Likely the banned dudes would come back in anger, toggling aimbots/wallhacks, carrying the frustration on anyone in DZ.

They need to cap the watch at 10k , that will solve the health problem. Unfortunately, all the other things like shooting through walls , rapid fire will be a problem until they are reported .

My favorite version of DZ PvP was in the first Division before the lag switchers took over on console. Now you go in there and watch a full team of manhunts drop to their knees at the same time and fold over in an instant, it's sad to see some of the most fun i had in any PvP reduced to that state. The fact that nothing will ever be done about it is sad and all you can do is move on and remember the good times.

They should make servers with brackets. Expertise 0-10 one bracket. Expertise 10-15 second bracket. Expertise 15-21 third bracket. I don't want to hear it can't be done!

I was on today and someone chewed through 1.7million of my armor, catharsis, unbreakable, and a level 12 defender drone in about 2 seconds. Lol

This is a blight on the Division as a whole. Been present since D1 - massively unbalanced experience in PvP. I've said it before than PvP should have normalised stats across the board based on weapon type. No skills allowed. No overheals or any of that stuff. Keep that for PvE and raids etc. PvP can only be fair when all players, whether brand new or veteran, have exactly the same opportunity each time to beat the other. Because then it really is a matter of tactics and skills and not just down to people who have glitched the game and people who spend thousands of hours grinding. The grinding needs to be kept in its proper place in PvE. But the DZ needs equal amounts of fear, and risk vs reward decisions to take. It would make the PvP experience such more immersing and it would also retain much more of the player base for longer.

this happens to us all, the only difference is that I don't record it, yesterday two were in a manhunt farming the server, I finally got my waay around when they were distracted with 6 people shooting them, I put one of them down and I had the last one like if I shoot him once he will supposed to die, I had my unbreakable still and tone of armor and that guy never die, he put me down, and I open my mic and said you are cheating you know that, he said I hate you all, I will come one day and take your job, your wife and all. The moment it was announced that they would be introducing a "expertise" system to weapons and gear, i knew it was going to be a major issue for PVP. It theory, it is a great idea, but its a major handicap for anyone that hasn't leveled their items, especially new players to this game. Keep it for Invaded DZ only, but not for regular DZ and Conflict

With the cheaters, glitches and server issues and game crashes its getting hard to even play the game anymore and enjoy it. On the US East server there is a lot of cheaters in DZ West.

I think they should remove expertise in pvp areas or at least render it useless in pvp stats, I play on Playstation and even had people admit they use a cheat to see where people are, on Playstation using 100% pulse res is useless and even when not using pulse res they'll come directly where you are not even pulsing, as if they see you through walls the way manhunts light up but you're not even rogue

I'm not much for the dark zone but I'm chasing the named Murakami knee pads and I'm not the strongest but I'm not a pushover but I had a dude with a 7 expertise level decimate me and I'm at level 17. Dropped his armor and straight headshot and his health did not drop at all, so I'm staying out of the DZ for the most part, just had enough

PVP in all games will always have cheaters, known or unknown. It has to always be assumed as possible.

Not new but took about 2 years off and missed the expertise system. I hate it and have to focus on leveling up gear that I don’t like isn’t fun. Or you have to donate the gear - but it is extremely expensive to optimize so you can’t do both well. Really bad system honestly

I don't think expertise and shd levels that are the real problem though. It's literally the point that cheaters aren't being dealt with, starting with warning bans to perma bans. I am a console player and I think it should be down to playstation/Xbox to make it that 3rd party can't and won't be compatible with their systems. As for pc I know it would be a lot harder with so many programs that can be accessed

The fix for both problems is very easy, cap the SHD level at 1000, and make the expertise damage bonus apply only against NPCs.

Finally a content creator that says thing as it is, the game died at birth for pvp players. You are the first Div 2 creator i follow...all the others...well......they sold they´re soul for a scripted interview with the idiot Dev that ruined this game.

I'm fine with the expertise system and getting rewarded for grinding fair enough.. but the cheaters that are plain and simple cheating with 2mil health and wall hacks and what not is just plain stupid and its happening all the time almost every DZ hasa cheater in it.

it's silly that you can optimize all your gear and weapons but NOT your mods. SHD needs to be hard capped and the people over that cap should be lowered down to that number. i don't see it being a problem in PVE though. all timed leaderboards need a full wipe, due to bugs and people glitching/hacking to get low times.

The only pvp there should be is conflict where eveything is stripped away and everyone is at base line stats

I`m new to Division 2 as a title and Amount of grind that i need to do to not be 1shoted in pvp is rediculus. no fun allowed. I mean its ok that some people spend like 10k hours to level up everithing but thats to much. I respect the dedication but new player exipiens sucks

Good video Patrick I'm sorry for your bad Time that session but this is the devs fault. Expertise made everyone hungry for that so most of the players relied on the exploits to increase it. As much as I love the division the barebones in that the devs have left the game it just makes me want not to play it.

Expertise system in pvp was the baddest idiot thing Massive has done. New players have no chance in pvp. Rogue running in cp without worrying about the joking turrets or putting bleed hives and mortar turrets in cp safe zone killing players to have a manhunt. Then running away to the safe house like in dz South (favourite spot now).Before you could kill rogues campers in buildings or safe house with traps, but they nerfed it. Put the turrets damage like it was at the beginning (no more camping for rogues) make that the skills like bleed hives or mortar turrets will be disrupted in the cp zone. The latency is a joke no damage output on these cheaters, killing you through walls. Massive should be ashamed of this triple A game, pvp is a mess. Another thing I've experienced flatline players or heartbreaker did pulse damage on 100% pulse resistance build now. The report system is a placebo useless system, cheaters and exploiters still in the game after years despite endless reporting them. Found my solution game uninstalled and big massive middle finger for the devs.

I came back to find Ubisoft wants me to grind on the same content to get to 22.😂😂😂 The SHD levels need to be disabled and the game rebalanced. 6 blue builds shouldn’t rip your armor off armor anymore than a zero yellow hive bleeding you to death. Coming back the game is in a worse state than I left. Shot through walls, lag switchers and who knows what else. Ubisoft should have let Red Storm develop the pvp in game as in first Division. Dz wouldn’t be such a mess.

darkzone is the worst thing about division, its never been fun, desync and disconnects being a big factor, the only reason I go in there is for the currency. Peoples belief that ubi will fix the cheats in this game haven't seen the state of Rainbow six siege for the last 8 years

I like the DZ its different but i dont play when there players in the dark zone, im a new player and just get shit on. I usually go to a darkzone, log out n log back in n hope it empty.

Before expertise was here here most pvp players were just about at 1k shd level. Now you see loads of pvp players above 10k and they never do any pve. Any exploit or glitches the pvp community are straight on it.

Expertise need to be removed it’s just a increase in lvl cap with out doing it. Or the devs should do it like div1 have brackets for expertise in the DZ like 1-5,5-10, and so on

They need to normalize out expertise in PVP. It’s just bullshit, and the fact that Massive didn’t see what the impact of expertise would be on PVP is just sad. How the hell are you supposed to be able to take down someone that has maxed out every piece they’re using, including their Eagle Bearer? It’s just stupid.

I stopped playing it, is just not fun anymore. They put efforts on money grabbing items like cosmetics instead of actually putting effort on a new engine or performing actual fixes to it. Cheers mate I keep track of the game with your videos but that as far as I go for now.
