From the heat, speed and competition at the Western States 100 to the high altitude, steep climbs and torrential weather of the Hardrock Hundred 100. For most, even attempting these two high profile 100-mile races is a lifetime achievement. Watch as ultrarunner and family man Jeff Browning attempts to break the combined time record of 43h 33m in these two races. . . with only 19 days of rest in between.

We weren't started in some corporate office, but in the back room of a Wasatch Mountain running store. Our founders, -elite athletes and running store managers, -wanted a shoe that let you run the way you were born to. They noticed that the design of most running shoes was hurting runners more than helping them. Elevated heels promote high-impact landing and narrow toe boxes squeeze the toes out of their natural position.

Awesome! I am now a Jeff Browning fan. Not because of the record but because of his priorities.

Congratulations, Jeff!! Amazing effort. I also did the double this year, in 76:45. I wonder if I have the record for slowest. I finished HR with 15 minutes to spare. -Dmitriy

I knew nothing about Jeff. I knew a little about Hardrock 100. And after watching, I really wanted to go there, to run in America. In Russia, trailrunning has just begun to grow. And there is no such school as in Europe or in the USA. Therefore, we look at your races, read your books and learn and want the same) Thanks for the video, I was glad to meet Jeff. Great motivation for me to keep training anyway

Saying Congratulations does not come close to my admiration as I can appreciate how difficult this would have been. More in awe as to the achievement :-)

Good movie, 2nd time watching. Jeff seems like a really down guy! Like how he mentioned wishing his family was there at the Hardrock finish. I'm new to trail running so these stories and people like Jeff are inspiring!

Boy how times have changed...this was in 2016....hardly any people at the start or finish of the race....look at videos of the 2018 race...huge crowds at the start, aid stations and finish line. Ultra running has grown very fast the last couple of years. Its now at the point that a lot of these ultra races are almost impossible to get into. Way to go Jeff...
