Butter Chicken (murgh makhani) and consequently Butter Paneer are some of the most iconic dishes of North Indian. Sopposively invented in 1947 by Kundan Lal Gujral who opened the Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi, a restaurant I visited a couple of years back which seems to have lost its former glory. Nethetherless, this is a fantastic dish with a special technique I decided to make it even more super tasty.
To change the recipe to butter chicken, simply add chunks of raw chicken breast 5 minutes into cooking the onions.
